Pecan Point Assisted Living & Memory Care

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
The staff who care for the residents are super friendly and do a great job, but they’re seriously short-staffed—the ratio of staff to residents isn’t enough. We really like the facility, especially when our loved one first moved in—the meals and dining service were fantastic. However, now they still claim it’s gourmet food, but residents get sandwiches every night. The weekday activities are good and well-scheduled, but there’s nothing happening on weekends.

"Contrasting Experience Between Assisted Living and Memory Care Unit"
At first glance, this assisted living facility seemed amazing, with all the residents looking happy and cheerful. However, when we had to consider the possibility of my loved one needing memory care, we found a drastically different scene in their memory care unit. It was dark, had zero energy or vibes, and the residents appeared lifeless, almost like zombies. There was only a single staff member in sight. We were shown a room that was going to be ours, but it had a huge urine stain which had not been cleaned up yet, and there was a strong smell. Also, the cost of staying here was extremely high.

"Affordable, caring, and recommended."
We picked Pecan Point because it's affordable and provides good care. The rooms are a bit small but meet her needs. I'd recommend it.

This assisted living facility is really nice. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they make sure everyone is well taken care of. The rooms are clean and cozy, and there are lots of activities for the residents to do. The food is pretty good too! Overall, it's a great place for seniors to live comfortably and be happy.
