""Unfulfilled Promises and Inadequate Service at Assisted Living Facility""
It all started well, but things turned sour once we locked into a contract. They conveniently forgot to mention that the place was sold over the summer. They kept up appearances in the public spaces when we visited, but didn't bother to clean the apartment until the day before we moved my mother-in-law out - that's after three whole weeks of her living there. If it wasn't for one decent staff member, this already bad review would be worse. In fairness, my mother-in-law didn't need any medical care, but that's where the positives end. They rarely served the meals that were promised, often serving burnt food instead. There weren't many alternatives if she didn't fancy the main course. Although she didn't sign up for any activities, I noticed a couple were cancelled during her stay. We signed a contract on a certain date and moved her out on another, but they took a long time to arrive. I'm still waiting for a refund for half of October's fees. In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this place.

"Massive Decline in Quality After Contract Signed at Facility"
This place seemed good at the beginning, but as soon as we signed the papers, it all went down the drain. To add to the mess, nobody mentioned that there was a change in ownership over the summer. The public areas looked decent when we visited, but they only bothered to clean the apartment right before my mother-in-law moved out, which was after 3 weeks of her stay. My rating of 3 is solely because of one good employee, otherwise, it wouldn't exceed 1. To be honest, my mother-in-law didn't need medical care, but the food was not up to scratch; it didn't match the menu and was often burnt. Besides, there were hardly any alternatives if you didn't fancy the main dish. There were activities, for which I'll give a 3, but she didn't join any of them, and several got canceled anyway. We signed the contract and moved her out on two separate dates, with her arriving later. For the life of me, I'm still waiting for half of October's refund. I strongly advise against this facility.

"Mixed Experience at Preston Place"
Preston Place was a wonderful community. Everyone was friendly and nice, and our family loved it. However, they need to improve their medication management; we had some issues.

"Caring staff and perfect room size for loved ones"
We picked Preston Place because it felt right for my loved one. The rooms are just the right size for her. The staff really care about the residents, which is super important to us. I'd tell others to check this place out.
