"Clean facility with great staff, but pricey with small meals"
The facility is kept clean, and the front office staff is great. The care staff is okay. Moving in and getting everything set up for my dad was simple. The food is good, but the portions are small. The menu changes, and the choices are average. I would recommend it, but it's more expensive than some other places.

"Great care and easy access make Prestonwood Court worth it"
The building is easy to get around, and it gives family members and visitors peace of mind. Prestonwood Court is definitely worth the money for the good care and our comfort.

"Great Place for Cleanliness and Respectful Staff"
Prestonwood Court was the best place we saw. It was very clean, had good food for my picky dad, and the staff were really friendly. They let my dad be himself and didn’t try to change him. He’s an introvert, and they don’t push him to join activities. We had some problems at first with them learning his routine, but it got better. I recommend Prestonwood Court to friends and family, even though it costs more than most places.

"Facility Decline and Covid Impact at Prestonwood Court"
Prestonwood Court used to be a top Assisted Living facility in Plano. But after it was sold a few years ago, things changed. During and after Covid, they lost many staff members, and sadly, more than 20 residents died from Covid. The current director is difficult to work with, and the nursing staff struggles to do their jobs promptly. The food quality is poor, and the chef blames corporate decisions.

"Great Activities and Amenities, But Too Expensive"
My mother really liked this place, but she thought it was too pricey. She enjoyed the apartments, though she would have preferred a tub. She liked the heated pool and therapy tub. She also loved the activities list and thought it was better than other places.

"Exceptional Facility with Great Care and Activities!"
My loved one is settling in really well at this facility! The place is super clean, the staff are wonderful, and my loved one likes the food options. They even went out with other residents to an Italian restaurant. We also appreciate that there are three geriatric doctors on staff, which is more than many other places offer. Overall, I’m very happy with it!

"Unhappy With Memory Care, Wouldn't Recommend For Loved Ones"
I am extremely dissatisfied with the memory care, I wouldn't dare risk my mother's wellbeing by placing her in this facility.

"Nice rooms and friendly staff, but common areas feel small"
The rooms were nice and well arranged. The pool was good. Everyone seemed happy and friendly. The common areas felt a little small. I'd consider coming back for another visit. Jane, thanks a lot for the book, Hamilton. I was so surprised you remembered I wanted to read it. You’re very kind. Thanks again, Linda.

"Nice place, but a bit strict."
We visited here, and it was nice. It was a bit more strict than we wanted with set mealtimes and stuff. We picked a place that's more relaxed. It seemed nice though.

"Friendly Staff and Clean, Cheerful Environment with Room for Evening Activities"
The staff here is fantastic. They’re really friendly and always attentive. The place is very clean, and the food tastes good. I just wish there were more evening activities, but they’re already working on adding more. We really liked the happy vibe, the wide hallways, and the light, cheerful decor. The other residents seem to be very capable, which is great for someone who might have health issues but is still sharp mentally.

"Convenient and Friendly Assisted Living at Prestonwood Court"
We've had a good experience overall. The monthly rent seems a bit higher than other places, but the convenience for our family makes up for it. The staff is very friendly and usually willing to help. It's nice knowing Mom is in a safe environment with people looking out for her when we aren't there. So far, it's been a good experience.

"Fantastic Community with Great Activities and Care"
It’s pricey, but it’s fantastic. I’m really pleased with it. The activities are great, and the community is exceptional. It’s not too big, so the residents get lots of attention. Like I said, it costs a lot, but they work hard to provide excellent care.

"Great Facility, But No Availability and Higher Prices"
The facility was AWESOME. The memory care area had lots of windows and a big courtyard. All the rooms were private (23 in total), and there were just two levels of care to think about for pricing. When I visited twice, there were really great entertainers, and it seemed like most of the memory care patients joined in with the assisted living residents. The only downside was the price (which seemed higher than other places I checked) and the lack of available spots.

"Krista made the transition easy great activities and food"
Krista made the move for my mother-in-law so smooth. They have many fun activities for the residents and the food is tasty with plenty of choices. There are lots of things to do right there at Prestonwood Court. I’m really happy with how things turned out.

"Visited Gatelike Facility Solo, Hard-to-Understand Staff Present"
Visited, but the sales staff wasn't there. Checked out the nice-looking building's first floor by myself. It's a big place with a gym. The helpers and nurses were hard to understand due to their strong accents...

"Great Amenities with a Costly Price Tag!"
Gosh! This is as good as it gets, but it's costly. They have a complete gym and swimming pool with a full-time fitness coach. The basic charge includes giving out medication. There's a full-service beauty salon that's open from Tuesday till Friday.

"Gorgeous Facility, but Might Not Suit My Mom Perfectly"
This place is gorgeous! I’d love for my kids to choose it for me. I met with the Director and was impressed by the indoor pool, workout area, massage therapist, and dining area. The apartments are very nice, and my mom would appreciate the walk-in closet in the one-bedroom unit. I was also impressed with the caregiver and nurse stations on each floor. Although I think it’s a perfect spot, my mom might not feel comfortable because she might think the other residents are better than her. This could make her avoid socializing and stay in her room. I really like this place, but I’m not sure if it’s the best fit for her.
