"Pricey assisted living facility lacks care and maintenance"
This place is honestly not good. The management keeps switching out and the building is falling apart, with lots of water leaks and other big problems. It's not kept clean either because there aren't enough housekeepers to manage all the rooms like they're supposed to. Most folks who work here are nice though. They offer no real care for the folks who live here. The food they serve is at least okay to eat, but I wouldn't tell anyone else to try it. The fun stuff to do here, like poker and bingo, is pretty good. For almost $3,000 a month, though, this place is too pricey, not managed well, and not looked after. I wouldn't tell anyone to spend their money here if they want something worth the price. Look somewhere else if you can. It's way too costly for what they offer. Getting a cheaper apartment with your own caretaker might be better, if you can figure that out.

"Overall positive experience with responsive staff and independent living."
There were a few maintenance problems, but they seem to be handled, is friendly and responds promptly. It's independent, and my Dad receives care from an agency caregiver and a nurse there.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short: Flood Causes Damage and Disorganization"
Everything was fine until a flood from frozen pipes occurred. It caused one wing of the first floor to flood. My aunt was moved to another apartment, but her belongings sat in water for hours. Many of her memories had to be thrown out, and most of her brand new furniture was damaged. They haven't offered anything to make it right. My aunt spent her last full day crying and feeling hopeless. We had problems from the beginning of her two-month stay. The apartment wasn't ready, there were electrical issues, and we were promised a new stove. Housekeeping didn't come to take out the trash for two weeks. Everyone we encountered was friendly, and Finnly, the interim manager, was friendly too, but understandably overwhelmed. If my aunt had survived, I'm sure we could have worked out all the little details.

"Promises Broken: Poor Services, Neglected Maintenance, and Bad Food"
I'm really dissatisfied with this place. They assured us there would be regular cleaning services as per our agreement, but none to be seen. I've been begging for repairs that were needed for a long time, but no action has been taken. And the food? It's just plain bad.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We visited the place and the folks we talked to were nice, and the food was really good. But, the building is old, the carpets look really old and worn, and it seems like they haven't kept up with fixing things inside.

"Neglected Maintenance and False Promises at Renaissance."
My family members have been at Renaissance for 2 years. None of what we were ensured has ever materialized! Still, no reduction in rent! When tenants ask for maintenance, they're met with endless excuses. The fountain is nothing but a gunky, green swamp. Only the main hall and dining area are well maintained. The place desperately needs a makeover. Now, they're taking in residents who require mental support in what was meant to be an independent living setup. They've significantly lowered rent for new tenants. This place is a mess! Pay attention to the review dates if you're contemplating this facility.

"Clean but aging facility faces challenges in winter storms."
The place is tidy, activities are restarting. But old building. During the big winter storm, no water for 3 weeks. Toilets didn't work. Heat struggled, limited meals during freeze. New manager brings hope.

"Lacking Activities and Communication During COVID"
The community couldn't do activities during COVID. Cleaning was lacking. Communication was poor; I felt uninformed. Wouldn't recommend.

"Caring Community Fosters Connection Amid Pandemic"
I've been at this assisted living facility for 9.5 months. I'm a social person and have met many others, mostly through my mom who shares our apartment. The care during the pandemic has been good. I enjoy hearing people's life stories and travel experiences.

"Assisted Living Struggles Post-Quarantine: A Mixed Experience"
Our home used to be close to great before quarantine. The office, maintenance, housekeeping, and service staff are now short-staffed, and they can't keep up like they did before. We understand the situation, but it's difficult, at least for now.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
I really enjoy the dining room and my bedroom. Unfortunately, the promised view isn’t there. The servers are fantastic, especially now. I hope they find a skilled chef.

"Disappointing Experience at Holiday: Services Reduced, Food Declined"
Moving into Holiday, we expected certain services, but they've decreased without a decrease in rent. The food quality has notably worsened, and we're now limited to whatever is delivered to our apartment. The management seems selective about what information they share and often fail to follow through on promises. At this time, we can't recommend moving in.
