"Inadequate Care in Dementia Unit at Assisted Living Facility"
Review: The place looks nice and the food is good. But the aides act more like babysitters than caregivers. There's no nursing staff, and when my husband needed help, they called the fire department medics three nights in a row for minor incidents. When I complained, they insisted they were providing top-level care. I decided to leave immediately. This review only reflects my experience with the Dementia Unit. They also have independent and assisted living units that seem nice.

"Billing Issues Persist at Assisted Living Community"
I'd recommend this community for loved ones. It's short-staffed, like many places nowadays, but offers lots of activities for residents. My concern is with the accounting department—they've double-billed in the past and struggled with accurate billing. Unfortunately, they're not helpful in resolving the situation.

"Not Ideal for Memory Care"
We visited Rio Terra for a tour. We wanted a place that only focused on memory care, but we didn't think this facility would meet our loved one's needs.

"Nice, spacious apartments, good dining, full, waiting list required."
The entrance looks very nice, like a hotel. The independent living apartments are spacious, and the dining is like a restaurant. Each apartment has its own storage unit. They provide two meals a day. Assisted living apartments are large, about 615 sq ft. A second person costs $1000 plus $400 for bathing, meds, etc. There are only 6 in bold now, and the place is full. A $500 refundable waiting list is available.

"Outdated, worn-out, needs updates; food and quality could improve."
I don’t think it is well-kept at all. It needs updating because it is outdated. They replace things as cheaply as possible, and even the paint is cracked. It’s a lovely area with potential to be very nice. It’s not dirty, just worn out and tired. The food is awful; it doesn’t taste good and is low quality. I love the apartment floor plan; it just needs to be redone.

"Unpleasant Tour Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I didn’t like my visit to this place. I went to see the memory care area for my mom, but the lady I scheduled with wasn’t there. The person who showed me around didn’t seem knowledgeable. Overall, it left a bad impression.

"Mixed Experience on Assisted Living Tour"
This community is pleasant, and our tour went smoothly. The place looked nice and well-kept. The staff was friendly and answered our questions. Unfortunately, we found another community that better suited my mother-in-law's needs. Overall, our tour here was positive.
