"Parking Loved Ones at Royal Estates? Absolutely Not! Negligence Galore."
I can tell you right now, don't send your loved ones to Royal Estates of El Paso! I took my mom out of there because they kept misplacing her medications and clothes. They didn't help her with bathroom needs and left her alone for way too long. They didn't follow her diet orders from her doctor. They never replied to my messages or calls, and they were really bad about getting back to me when I asked them to call. They would mess up her off-site appointments and failed to talk to her medical power of attorney about important stuff for her care, hygiene, diet, medications, and overall health. This place has no good leadership, the employees don't seem to care, and they don't give the help we're paying for. They basically don't care about their residents and are just plain neglectful! I think the higher-ups running things are from Florida. Seriously, what's going on?

"Terrible Assisted Living, Poorly Trained Staff, Bad Head Nurse"
If you care about your family members needing help, avoid this facility. They totally neglect the residents, the med techs don't get enough training, and the main nurse is really bad! It might be fine for those who can live independently, but if you need a helping hand, stay away from here.

"Promises Made, Care Lacking at Royal Estates"
I’m not sure I’d tell others to pick Royal Estates of El Paso for their family. It seems like they didn’t give the kind of care my family member needed. It felt like they didn’t have enough people working to take good care of everyone. When we first looked at the place, everything seemed great and they said they’d do a lot, but those things didn’t happen. The head nurse was really nice and seemed to care a lot. She mentioned there was some confusion with the schedule and said they would sort it out. But, it looks like they didn’t actually solve the problem with how they take care of people.

"Too Far for Dad"
We took a virtual tour of Royal Estates, and it was nice. But the location was too distant for my dad. He still drives and didn’t feel at ease with the area or the long drive.

The assisted living facility is pretty good. Everyone is helpful and responds quickly to any issues I have. I especially appreciate [[name removed]] from activities; they're great!

"Very Satisfied with Royal Estates Experience"
My mom has been living at Royal Estates for almost 2 months now. Moving from the home she lived in for 50 years has been tough for her. Still, my siblings and I are really happy with how she's doing at Royal Estates. She’s adjusting well, feeling safe, and surrounded by caring people. The staff has been amazing, making sure her move and stay have been as smooth as possible. We love the nice rooms, tasty meals, fun activities, and the attentive staff. I just wish we had found this place sooner.

"Staff Needs Better Training"
The staff here is alright and they’re friendly, but they’re not very well trained and not attentive to the residents. The food is just okay, and the maintenance crew doesn’t do a good enough job keeping the place clean.

"Unreliable and Unfriendly: A Poor Assisted Living Experience"
My doctor warned me against coming here, and now it's crystal clear why. The food at this place is not friendly for a diabetic diet or low-sodium needs, even though they initially promised it would be. The quality of maintenance is poor, and that's even when you're lucky enough to get someone to respond to your apartment. If you're expecting any deliveries like prescriptions or UPS packages from the front desk, they tend to overlook passing them on to you or even notifying that they've arrived. In general, the staff are mostly impolite and unhelpful. There are scarcely any engaging activities to participate in. I cannot confidently endorse this facility for anyone else.

" "Unsatisfactory Facility with Promises Unkept""
My physician warned me against residing here, and for good reasons. The meals are not tailored for those with dietary restrictions like diabetes or high blood pressure, despite their promises of the same upon my arrival. The upkeep and repair of the place is subpar at most, if you're fortunate enough to have the staff drop by your apartment. If you have medication or packages sent to the reception, they responsibly forget to forward them to you. On top of all this, the employees, for the most part, are discourteous and unhelpful. There’s a real lack of organized activities as well. Frankly, I wouldn’t advise anyone to consider this place.

"Poor Quality Meals and Maintenance at Assisted Living Facility"
The food at this facility lacks taste and isn't balanced. We're given the same mixed vegetables every day, mostly carrots, it's not good for a diabetic diet despite offering sugarfree desserts. The upkeep is truly awful, whenever we get someone to repair something, their work is completely disorganized.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Experience"
We didn't like this place for our loved one. Too crowded when we visited, and the public restroom was dirty. Staff were nice to the residents, but the repairs looked amateurish. Lots of activity, though.

"Poor Maintenance and Overcrowding Deter Potential Residents"
We weren't impressed the moment our feet crossed the entrance. It seemed overly crowded during our visit, which didn't sit well with us and left a bad impression. The public restroom was poorly maintained and quite dirty. On a brighter note, the staff seemed to interact well with the residents. The community repairs, particularly in the bathroom of the model room they showed us, looked like they were done by someone with no experience or skills. Unsure if this was a cost-cutting measure or not, but it's definitely not what you want to see in a demonstration room meant for decisions-making. Despite these issues, the place was teeming with activity and resident interaction seemed lively.

"Great leadership, friendly staff, and clean facility make it top choice"
Royal Estates stands out from other places because of its great leadership and staff. Everyone we’ve met or seen interacting with the residents seems to really enjoy their job and wants to be there. They always try to be polite and helpful. The facility is very clean and well-maintained. We feel very confident about choosing Royal Estates for our mother.
