"Facility Struggles with Care and Staff Relations"
The new assisted living director is friendly and helpful. Perhaps she can make a difference. However, the facility lacks a caring atmosphere, and there's no meaningful connection between staff and residents. The large size of the facility means that assistance and care are stretched thin.

"Great Staff, Improving Experience for Mom"
Signature Pointe has really nice staff, though there have been some changes in who works there, which I guess happens a lot. My Mom hasn't been feeling too well lately, so she hasn't gone out much. She mostly likes the food they serve, and they've been good about bringing it to her room, which has been really nice of them. She's getting better and should be able to start enjoying everything there soon.

"Mixed Review for Signature Pointe Community"
What we appreciate about the Signature Pointe community is its convenient location. However, there are areas where they could enhance their services, such as implementing a new resident initiation process, improving communication, and providing better resident advocacy.

"Friendly staff but lacking communication; good physical therapy offered."
We chose this place because A Place for Mom suggested it. Two big worries were not enough talking and misunderstandings between workers. The workers were very nice and friendly, and they had good physical therapy.

"Excellent Care and Warm Atmosphere at Signature Pointe"
Thanks to the owner's kindness and great organizational skills, my husband and I smoothly moved from apartment to SP’s rehab section for three weeks. During that time, our permanent room was prepared for us. The employees here are really nice, and we’re impressed with everyone we’ve met, including the other residents. The food is excellent, and [name removed] is always available and full of energy. She’s a joy to be around at any time.

This is a wonderful place to live. It feels very warm and friendly, and you really feel valued and cared for. The managers are great, and the facility is well-maintained. Everyone here is nice, and the apartments are cozy. I have no complaints after living here for a little over a year.

"Great community with friendly staff and delicious food!"
I really like the exercise class I've been living here for a whole year now and I'm quite happy. Everything isn't perfect, but we really enjoy the company of the people here. The food is good too, especially the salmon.

"Engaging Activities, Room Size Concerns for Spoiled Mom"
They didn't have a big room when I looked. My mom is picky, used to a huge house. Money's not a problem. I tried finding the biggest room so she doesn't feel cramped. They said it might be available by year-end, so I'm thinking about moving. I like how they involve the residents. If my mom refuses to leave her room after lunch, they'll send someone to coax her out for activities. If that doesn't work, they'll sit with her. They have lots of activities to keep her busy and calm her down when she gets upset in the evening.

"Great Care and Fun Activities in One Place"
The facility is really nice, and they offer all levels of care in one spot. We visited this place with Mom two years ago when we were looking for independent living for her. Mom knows this place and liked the food back then. There are lots of activities here, and we found out that if something interested her on the independent living side, she could join in, even though she would be on the assisted living side.

"Friendly Staff and Covered Parking, but in Need of Upgrades"
The staff here are really great and the building, though a bit dated, offers some flexibility as they alter rooms to fit the needs of those who live there. There's also covered parking which is a plus. However, they need to fix some issues like leaks and bugs, and the fridge could definitely be bigger. While the place has a more institutional vibe than a homely feel, it's worth noting that upgrades may be in the pipeline, as hinted by the saleswoman.

"Be Wary: Poor Management and Security at Assisted Living Community"
Watch out for this place if you care about your family. Roughly a year ago, I moved a family member into this facility. Over that year, there were no less than 4 changes in top staff. I had to relocate my family member recently, giving the mandatory 30-day heads-up. But during this move, someone with a master key got into the apartment. The boss gave the runaround and dumped the problem on those who had no say in fixing it. Sadly, the people in charge have so little regard for their residents.

"Lovely Assisted Living with Spacious Apartments and Great Staff"
This place was really nice. The apartments were bigger than others we saw, and they looked nice too. The dining area was beautiful, and the staff did a good job showing us around and answering our questions. The only thing is it's a bit far from where I want to go. But overall, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're looking for a nice place.

"Lacking Staff-Resident Communication and Activities!"
Signature Pointe is a fresh place. It's neat and organized. However, my first impression of the staff was not positive. I didn't observe much communication between them and the staff. I only saw the residents lying on their beds in their rooms. It didn't look like there were plenty of activities happening.

"Poor Quality Care and Conditions at Signature Pointe"
We had our dad at Signature Pointe for 3 months for professional nursing help and we were really mad about how they treated him. The place was dirty and smelly. They didn't have hand sanitizer outside each room to stop germs from spreading. There weren't enough nurses or helpers, so the care was bad. They'd bring food to our dad's room and leave it by the window where he couldn't get to it because he had to stay in bed. We tried calling the nurses' desk many times and would wait for hours with no answer. We wouldn't tell anyone to use Signature Pointe.

"Disappointing Facility; Poor Care and Adequate Facilities"
I was really let down by the attention my dad got when he stayed there. It could take anywhere from a quarter of an hour to nearly an hour for someone to help him to the bathroom. After a while, I just gave up and took it upon myself to care for him. It seemed like most of the staff were more concerned with getting their paperwork done and making sure the boxes are ticked than with looking after the patients. I found the room cleaning to be subpar, and the quality of the food was just passable.

"Signature Pointe: Disappointing Experience with Discharge Services"
My mom left the rehab center, and we're quite upset. The staff seemed cheerful and looked after her well at first. But, once my mom announced that she wanted to leave, it all fell apart. They would vow to deal with things and then just let it slide. This kind of thing happens and it's a shame, but it's not always strange when things are hectic. On her departure day, we were informed that the doctor would visit that morning to remove the feeding tube. That was a relief as we had packed up all her stuff and she wasn't going to stay another night. At home, we found her medication and paperwork to be very confusing. When we called to talk to the nurse at SP, she said she can't assist us because they remove all patient details upon discharge - even though it was less than a day after. They had ample time to go over and explain her medication. We think we've figured it out enough to last the weekend and will consult with her private doctor to make sure everything is okay. We got no assistance from Signature Pointe.

"Caring and renovated: Happy residents and thoughtful staff."
This place is old but it got a nice makeover. The people who work here are careful about spending money and try to help us out with what we need. The part where they take care of people who need a lot of help is really good. The folks who live here seem like they're being looked after well, and they try to make sure married couples can stay together even if one needs more help than the other. We like that they keep things consistent when they take care of people here.

"Great care and staff make Signature Pointe a top choice"
Our mom stayed on the Memory Care floor for several months before she passed away. We were really happy with her care and the environment. The staff treated her like family. We visited her every day and were always pleased with the activities and overall care she received. Adam Koll was fantastic and always went above and beyond with any concerns or requests we had. The whole team on the second floor was great not just to our mom but to all the patients. I would definitely recommend Signature Pointe on the Lake for anyone needing assisted living or memory care.

"High cost, excellent caring staff, no way for patients in memory care to go outside"
The assisted living part was okay in terms of cost. However, we recently moved away because of value. While the initial cost for the assisted living section where my parents stayed was more affordable, the cost for memory care was extremely high. The staff members are awesome. The only issue I have is the cost. Whenever we needed something, the staff was responsive. We never had to worry about my parents’ well-being. From the friendly lady who greets you at the entrance to the manager, everyone cared. On the memory care floor, I wish residents could go outside. Unfortunately, leaving the doors open isn’t feasible, so someone needs to accompany them. We’ve relocated my parents to a different memory care center that is more affordable, and there, they can enjoy a secure outdoor area for walking.

"Depressing Memory Care, Staff Unenthusiastic, Residents Looked Bored"
The memory care here felt depressing. It seemed as if the staff did just enough to get by and the place reminded me of a storage unit. All the residents were crammed in one space, either sleeping or lying down, appearing sadly uninterested in everything.
