"Nice Facility, Lacked Urgent Help We Needed"
I chatted on the phone briefly with this living facility to figure out if they could help us out quickly. The place seemed nice, but they weren't as ready to lend a hand as I would have hoped for. Lucky for us, though, we found another place that could help us on short notice.

"Review: Insufficient Space for Two in Assisted Living Facility"
The rooms are quite tiny for one individual, definitely not enough for two.

"Caring Staff and Nutritious Meals at Silver Ridge Assisted Living"
My aunt is doing a lot better at Silver Ridge Assisted Living. The people who work there are really great. Recently, one of them took my aunt out for breakfast, which I thought was really nice. The food they serve is healthy and the right amount. It's not a big place, but the staff does a really good job of making sure my aunt is safe and encourages her to get up every day. Her room is small, with just one bathroom, and feels more like a nursing home.

"Unsupervised and disorganized visit to hot memory care facility."
I had a scheduled visit to check out the place. When I got there, everything looked pretty chaotic. I saw an employee just lounging around watching TV in the lounge. The weirdest part was when we walked into the memory care section - it was left open and no one was keeping watch. The person giving us the tour didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. The memory care unit was too hot, it was overall a really crummy experience.

"Unprofessional Guide, Unlocked Dementia Ward, Worse Visit Experience"
I had planned a visit to this senior living place. It looked pretty messy when I got there. Some workers were just chilling out on a couch, watching TV in a shared space. My guide took me to the nursing section for dementia patients and, surprisingly, there was no lock on the door. Nobody seemed to care about it. The guide was not acting very professionally. Also, the dementia area was super warm, making my trip there not enjoyable at all.

"Dark and Stinky: Silver Ridge Turns Off Visitors"
Silver Ridge Assisted Living seemed like an outdated nursing home. It had a nasty smell of urine all over. It may look clean, but it sure didn't smell like it. The place was gloomy and sad. The lights were dim, it didn't feel very inviting. The overall maintenance needs major improvement.

"Silver Ridge: A Blessing for Our Parents"
Silver Ridge has been great for our parents. One is in memory care and the other in independent living, so we interact with many employees. They are all very kind and respectful, even with my many questions. The staff is attentive, and management keeps a good caregiver-to-patient ratio. The food is tasty, but I’m not sure they follow the doctor’s salt-free diet advice. I haven’t talked to management about it yet, but I’ve noticed my dad retaining water, which worsens his CHF. I can’t comment on the activities since I visit in the evenings when most residents are asleep. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the decor is beautiful. Their last place was dirty, and they were often sick and in the hospital. After 3 months at Silver Ridge, neither has been sick, not even with a cold. The facility is very clean and well-maintained. This has been a blessing for our family. I highly recommend Silver Ridge. It’s a bit pricey, but the respectful care for my parents has given me peace of mind.

"A Must-Visit Community"
Silver Ridge has been an amazing place for our parents. With one parent in memory care and the other in independent living, we've interacted with many employees. They've all been kind and respectful, even when I ask a lot of questions. The staff seems attentive, and management maintains a good ratio of caregivers to patients. The food is tasty, but I'm not sure they follow the doctor's salt-free diet recommendation. I've noticed my father retaining water, which worsens his CHF. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the activities since I visit in the evenings when most residents have retired. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the decor is beautiful. Unlike their previous facility, which was dirty and led to frequent illnesses, Silver Ridge has kept our parents healthy for the past 3 months. It's a clean, well-maintained blessing. I highly recommend it.

"Private, caring facility with friendly staff and good care"
My dad has only been here a short time, but I’m happy with the care he’s getting. The staff is friendly and helpful. I feel he’s in a safe, caring place. They listen to family concerns and act on them. I like that it’s privately owned and not a big corporation. He can’t join activities right now, so I can’t judge that.

"Top-notch assisted living with great food, cleanliness, and family involvement."
This place has separate areas for assisted living and memory care. The food here is better than anywhere else we checked out. It's super clean, and the owner and staff really seem to care about making life as good as possible for everyone, no matter what level of care they need. I especially like how they encourage families to be involved with the residents. Plus, the prices are fair compared to other places.

"Language Barrier Challenges in Assisted Living"
It's been okay so far, but the language barrier is a big issue for me. When I need information, I can't talk to the RN because their English isn't very good. Customer service should be able to speak English. The caregivers are great, but I don't understand the management.

"The management is hard to understand because their English is not great."
It's been going okay so far. The language barrier has been a real issue for me. I struggle when I can't communicate with the RN because their English isn't very good. Anyone in customer service should be able to speak English. As for the caregivers, we don't have any problems—they're awesome. But the management is hard to understand.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
We visited this place while searching for a home for our family member. The part for people with memory issues seemed nice, but it cost more than we can afford. The area for those who need some help didn't feel welcoming, and it seemed like not many residents were social, which is important to us.

"Good Memory Care, Less Impressive Assisted Living"
We visited this place while searching for options for our loved one. The memory care section seemed really good, but it was too expensive for us. We weren't as impressed with the assisted living area. It didn't have a great atmosphere, and it seemed like the residents wouldn't be as social as our loved one likes to be.

"Best care and attention for my mom at Silver Ridge!"
My mom has lived here for 1 1/2 years, and we’ve never worried about her care, her medicine, or her well-being. The staff is always attentive and busy, helping with meals, laundry, showers, meds, activities, and conversations. I visited many other assisted living places and was shocked to see no one on duty and residents searching for help. This never happens at Silver Ridge. They are like family, looking after each person by name and their needs. I can’t imagine my mom living anywhere else.

"Great care, unique environment, but some adjustment challenges"
We picked this place because it has a special living setup. He’s with people who have similar needs, so he’s not mixed with those who have different abilities. The staff is great and we really like them; their care is top-notch. He’s having a bit of trouble adjusting, but that’s not Silver Ridge’s fault. They are doing everything they can to help him settle in, and we’re working through this together.

"Cozy Home-Like Setting with Good Food and Personal Care"
My mom couldn't join activities due to health. We picked it because it felt more like home, not a big fancy place. Food was tasty, place was small, giving more personal care. Everything promised was done without problems. We'd choose them again.

"Warm and caring memory care facility with unique features."
This place is really nice, especially the memory care part. The owner is super caring and knows a lot about Alzheimer's. He made the place thinking about how he'd want his own parents to be cared for. There are 2 great chefs and one nurse for every 4 patients. The owner thought it would be good for our loved one to stay here, but I didn't think it was the right fit after seeing the other residents. It's pretty quiet here, not much going on besides the staff. The owner has a special way of managing medicine. Two doctors come three times a week, and he tries to use less medicine if it's not needed. He has smart ideas about how to help people with dementia, like listening to music and not letting them watch TV alone. The memory care area has 10 rooms, some private and some shared, with a big common area in the middle. The owner likes the shared rooms because he thinks it helps people remember things better. Most rooms don't have showers, to prevent accidents, but there are some with showers if you want. The prices include everything, but it's a bit more than we planned to spend. The owner offered a discount for the first year, though. One downside is that it seems pretty strict here, but maybe that's a good thing. The owner said we could visit anytime. It's $4,200 a month for a shared room with a $500 discount, or $5,200 for a private room. Our main worry was that there weren't many activities for the residents, but the owner said there are two activity planners on staff.

"Limited occupancy, private pay, shared rooms: New assisted living."
The assisted living facility is new and still has only a few residents. They only accept private pay, and the rooms accommodate two people.

"Clean and Cozy Assisted Living with Attentive Staff, Reasonable Price"
This place is small, but super tidy. The rooms are nice, but they don't have kitchens. The staff is really nice and helpful. They don't serve meals in the rooms, though. Also, some bathrooms are shared. But overall, it's a good deal for the price. I'd give it four stars.
