"Needs better hurricane prep but staff is helpful"
I think this community should be cheaper because I had to help my loved one during the hurricane. They should have had a generator to support the residents and been better prepared. Overall, the staff is good and helpful, and they always reach out when my loved one is sick.

"Mixed Experience at Six Palms Assisted Living"
I visited Six Palms on a day when something had just happened to one of their long-term residents, and the staff was upset. Despite that, I was concerned that the front door couldn't be easily closed and locked. There was also extra equipment stored in strange places around the house. Unfortunately, the backyard pool was in disrepair, along with other things. On a positive note, the staff appeared warm and caring toward the residents, who seemed clean and well-cared-for.

"Personalized care in a cozy, clean community with flexible meals."
I really like this cozy place. My mom has her own room and bathroom. The staff take good care of her, giving her all the attention she needs. They always listen to what I ask for and are okay with changing her meals if she's resting. The food is okay. The workers are nice and polite. The place is clean but not too clinical. They have a pool and a patio with chairs, all fenced in. I think this place is great and would suggest it to others.

I really want to share how great this place is. My dad just passed away not long ago, but the time he spent here was wonderful. The people who work here are so nice and helpful. They did everything they could to help us during this hard time. I just want to say thank you to the amazing staff.

"Highly satisfied with caring staff and excellent facility!"
My husband moved to Six Palms ten weeks ago, and we couldn’t be happier. He’s been treated with great respect and care. The staff has been amazing, and any concerns we've had were quickly and thoroughly addressed. My husband feels safe and comfortable here and has built close relationships with his caregivers. They often chat with him about his past, which he enjoys. I decorated his room with personal items, and this has sparked many conversations with the staff, even late at night. The facility has a great nurse practitioner who works closely with a doctor. The nurse and aides carefully note any changes in my husband's condition and follow up quickly. The place itself is beautiful, with nice areas inside and outside for relaxation. Family members are always treated kindly, and communication is top-notch between everyone involved. Although it was hard for us to adjust to him moving away from home, the staff at Six Palms have been incredibly caring and helpful, making this big change as smooth as possible. I’m confident my husband is receiving the care he needs and deserves.

I thought Six Palms was okay, but I chose a different place closer to my home with prettier gardens. Compared to that, Six Palms seemed a bit boring. The folks there were really nice and helpful, though. It just wasn't exactly what I wanted.

"Wonderful Care and Cozy Atmosphere at Six Palms"
They did a fantastic job at Six Palms. I don’t know what we would have done without them. They took great care of my Dad and made sure my Mom was happy and comfortable too. The place is nice and cozy, with a warm and friendly vibe. It doesn’t feel like an “institution” at all. It was also a great place for the grandkids to visit and spend time with their grandfather. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for senior care in the area!

"Nice, comfortable, helpful staff, small facility, good individual care."

This place is really nice and feels new in a cozy way. They even have an outdoor pool for therapy. My dad's only been at the assisted living facility for a week, so it's a bit early to give a complete judgment. But, things seem to be going well. The staff is taking good care of him. "Bright, clean home with friendly owner and peaceful setting"
The home is nice, bright, and clean. It has been updated with new materials. Most rooms have their own full bath. There’s a pool, but it would be better with a railing or a lift at the steps. The house is not far from shopping centers, but it’s in the country, so it might feel isolated or peaceful depending on how you see it. Jackie, the owner, spent a lot of time with me and was very nice and friendly.

"Nice, bright, and clean home."
The house has been recently updated with newer materials. Most rooms come with their own full bathrooms. There's even a pool! It would be even better if there were a railing at the pool steps or a lift. While the house isn't too far from shopping centers, it's nestled in the countryside, which might make you feel either isolated or peaceful, depending on your mindset.., the owner, spent a lot of time with me and was very friendly.

"Six Palms is a solid choice."
Six Palms, located on a peaceful country road in Manvel, is a fairly new facility with only 4 or 5 residents. The rooms and bathrooms are pleasant, featuring roll-in showers. While the menus could use better planning, the staff is nice and helpful. Our mother has been there for a month and a half and has done well.
