"A Pleasant Experience"
They explained everything thoroughly before we moved our loved one in, so we knew what to expect. The move-in process was well organized, and the staff kept the facility clean. Overall, a pleasant atmosphere.

"Cozy and Clean Memory Care Unit with Good Staff"
The memory care unit is nice and cozy, even though it's small right now, with about 10 residents. The staff, mostly young women, are good at their jobs, though some are faster than others. They do seem a bit short on help. The food is decent, and the place is clean. With Covid, they can’t clean every single thing all the time, but they do try. I’d definitely suggest this place to others.

"Wonderful community with great staff, but a bit expensive"
The community has been wonderful, and the staff is great and very caring. We don't worry about our loved one because they take great care of her needs. Her diet is limited, so she can't eat all the meals, but the food is very good. The cost for our mother is a bit expensive, but for our father in memory care, it's excellent.

"Poorly Managed Assisted Living Fails Residents with Medication Errors"
The people in charge didn't do a good job. They said they'd do fun stuff and help a lot, but they didn't. Some workers were nice, but they didn't get what they needed from the bosses. Not enough staff for everyone who lived there. They made lots of mistakes with medicine for many people. If it's still the same, don't let your family go there.

"Uncaring Memory Care Facility Cashes Check Despite Tragic Circumstance"
I am sharing my experience to reveal the cold, money-driven individuals operating this horrible place. I intended to relocate my mother to this memory care facility, placing a $500 deposit. Sadly, my mother passed away a week before her scheduled move. The deposit check had been written several days earlier, and they hadn't processed it. On the day of her passing, I reached out to them, only to discover they decided to deposit the check then. After seeing the check cleared from our bank account, I contacted them again. They reassured me our money would be returned within a month. However, those 30 days have come and gone, and my repeated attempts to reach them resulted to unreturned voicemails. Anyone who could exploit others during their darkest moments is not someone I'd recommend leaving your loved ones with. I am simply relieved that my mother never had to experience their apparent lack of empathy.

"Mom Is Settling In Nicely"
We picked this place for many reasons, and one of them was because they have lots of activities every day to keep Mom active. The director told us they’d make changes to the patio, and they actually did it! They added a sidewalk to make it easier for wheelchairs. The staff is caring and communicates well with the family. The place is always clean and smells nice. Plus, they serve three meals a day, which is comforting. I’d recommend this community.

"[Good for memory care, limited private rooms"
This place is just for memory care, but we wanted a place for more independent living. There aren't many private rooms, and the closets are really small. The people were nice, and the community seemed clean.

"Avoid Sodalis Assisted Living, Seriously Inadequate Care!"
This place was absolutely horrific. They couldn't even properly monitor the public spaces, and because of that, my husband ended up in the emergency room. What's more, his medication was handled all wrong by a hospice service that Sodalis recommended, and it led to severe Sundowning problems. They kicked him out 3 days before November, even though I'd already paid up $5250 for that month. They then refused to give me any of our money back, even though he never spent a single day there in November.

"Wonderful facility with attentive staff and great food"
I moved my husband to Sodalis in February and we are very happy with it. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The food is great, and help is available if needed. Lesa keeps adding new things to make everyone happy. I highly recommend this place.

"Great Assisted Living Experience"
We moved my husband to Sodalis Buda, and it’s a great place! He’s mostly happy there, and the food is amazing. The staff are helpful, and the CEO is addressing an issue. Recently, he cleverly left due to a faulty door during a hectic time. Overall, it’s an outstanding community, but my husband still misses home during sun downing.”

"Mixed feelings about Sodalis Buda Assisted Living"
Moving my husband to Sodalis Buda has been a rollercoaster. The place is nice, he's mostly happy, and the food's great. Staff are helpful and the CEO is addressing issues. Sometimes, he tries to leave because he doesn't understand why he's there. A recent incident involved him cleverly exiting due to a faulty door during a busy time. The police found him. Hopefully, things improve now that the door's fixed. Overall, it's a great place, but my husband wants to be home during difficult times.

"Sodalis Residence: Once Wonderful, Now Worrisome"
Sodalis was a great place to live until about half a year ago. The director then was really on the ball and the person running the activities was awesome, always making everyone laugh. But now, there are some serious problems: the new director is a really nice person, but she doesn't handle problems well, folks aren't getting their meds right, the place isn't as clean as it should be and there's less staff than ever before. This means they can't keep up with taking care of the residents and they're just working way too hard. A lot of residents have passed away since the care got worse during the flood evacuation and all the moving around. Family members are taking their loved ones elsewhere because they're not getting the care they need. Sodalis costs a lot of money for what feels like fancy babysitting. Let's hope things get better in the future for the folks who still live there.

"Great Food but Issues with Cleanliness and Management"
The food here is really good, and it's nice that we get a dessert every day after lunch. However, I'm worried about how the place is run and how clean it is.

"Disappointing Standards: Overpriced and Under-Maintained"
This place once deserved its high fees. Sadly, it seems now they care more about money than their residents, the property, or even the building itself. Upon closer inspection, this is just an overly fancy nursing home. Residents are just idling in front of the TV, there's busted equipment, stained chairs, and towels used to disguise the urine marks on the couches. Please, make sure to check out EVERYTHING in detail before dropping your hard-earned cash.

"Helpful over the phone, but they couldn't accept us."
I didn’t tour this home because, after discussing their services, they couldn’t accept us due to the need for a feeding tube. I had no issues during our interaction, and they even helped me find the right place.

"Fantastic community with helpful staff and great activities"
This place is a really great community. Joe is amazing and super helpful, and the whole team is great too. They’re friendly and always pay attention, doing an excellent job. I don’t have any worries or problems, and I don’t think anything needs to change. The food is tasty, and the activities are fun as well.

"Sodalis in Buda - A Warm and Welcoming Home"
We just moved my mother-in-law, Hazel, to Sodalis in Buda after checking out many places in the Austin area. Sodalis has everything we wanted and more. There are no long hallways or elevators to confuse anyone, and it doesn't feel like a hotel. Instead, it feels like a family home with rooms around the dining room, gathering room, and nurses' station. The activity directors make sure everyone joins in the fun activities. The daily routines are lively and enjoyable, with plenty of staff to care for everyone. The private rooms are cozy, furnished, and have big half baths. The showers are private, with space for staff to help if needed. We recommend families visit Sodalis before deciding; you'll be as impressed as we were.

"Big Improvement for My Mom at Provident Assisted Living"
My mom has lived in a few different places, and Provident has been the best by far. It’s super clean with no bad smells at all, which is a big upgrade from where she was before. Yes, it’s pricey, but that’s just part of it. They’re working on getting her medications just right and take great care of her. They keep her clean and provide plenty of activities both inside and outside to keep her engaged. There are all kinds of doctors and therapists who visit, and she’s doing really well. Since moving in, she’s always happy and walking around instead of just staring at the ground. I have no complaints. They keep me informed and are helping with Medicaid options for when her money runs out in November.
