"Efficient Assisted Living with Professional Staff, Slightly Sterile Atmosphere"
The place was really organized and well managed. The people who help the residents were awesome. The leaders and managers I interacted with were very focused on business. They were a bit cold and not overly friendly.

"Mixed experience; nice outdoors, scattered representative."
Sodalis at Stone Oak was pleasant overall. Waitlisted, odor-free, but confusing layout. Nice outdoor area. Representative seemed scattered.

"Better Food Needed, Sometimes Short on Staff"
My folks wish for healthier meals with more veggies. They like the workers but sometimes there aren’t enough.

"Mixed Feelings about Small Community Assisted Living Facility"
The food needs improvement, and portions are small. Nurses are nice, but some staff aren't as friendly. Be careful when choosing for loved ones. It's an okay, small community overall.

"Mixed Impressions at Sodalis-Stone Oak"
The everyday caregivers impressed me, but senior management focused on money. Onboarding was frustrating. Overall, I recommend Sodalis-Stone Oak to other families.

"Facility Review: Nice But Needs Improvement"
Our family visited the facility in person. It’s nice, but cleanliness could improve. There was a faint smell, and it felt small. The offerings weren’t quite up to par.

"Friendly Staff and Community Connections"
This community was our backup option. We really liked it, but it was too far from our family. We felt disappointed it wasn’t closer. The staff were friendly, and we chatted with other residents. We also met all the workers.

"Avoid Sodalis: Poor care, hidden costs, and staff turnover woes."
Run as fast as you can from Sodalis. They care more about money than anything else. They don't have many activities for the residents, and the staff is not enough. My dad was doing okay when he went in there, but within four months, he needed more help, and they moved him to memory care. Sadly, he passed away a month later. They even asked for money just a day after he moved! They kept bothering my mom with calls when they found out we were going to leave a bad review. Many employees left while we were there, and even after we left, things didn't get better. Don't be fooled by the nice-looking building. Your parents won't be happy here, and you'll regret choosing it. Some of us are still struggling with the guilt of choosing this place. They only care about money and don't tell you the true costs.

"Bittersweet Experience at Sodalis Stone Oak"
Ups and Downs at Assisted Living Facility" I've called this place home for [date removed] months and, to be honest, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. Being disabled due to a stroke, there are certain aspects I appreciate. The caregivers are on-call all the time and usually do their best to support us. However, some stuff gets on my nerves. Simple things like getting my laundry done and folded–which I pay extra for–take an annoyingly long time. Even simple tasks like making my bed often require hounding staff for a few days. Privacy is virtually non-existent here. Folks barge in without knocking and even if they do knock, they barely wait for an 'okay' before they're in the room. Food quality varies a lot. Breakfast is generally decent–especially the eggs. But lunch and dinner leave much to be desired. Many dishes are overcooked, bland and monotonous. The vegetables are usually boiled to mush and the whole building reeks of the kitchen. The meat is often tough and dry and the salads are unappealingly chopped up. The dishes are often too greasy, starchy or salty, particularly pastas and desserts. The cherry on top is the management. Too many changes have taken place already. As someone who pays for these services, I believe I should not be subjected to the Director's whims. Yet he seems to think differently and his patronizing lectures and his brash attitude are really grating. The director's thoughtless decision about my cat, despite a pre-approved deal, was the last straw. Among other residents, there's also some unnecessary drama. They're always making a big fuss and judging each other. Most of them lack decent manners and exhibit uncivilized behaviors like eating with their hands, screaming or picking their teeth in public. It's hard to understand how they can criticize others while behaving this way.

"Small Memory Care Area"
Good care, nice rooms, and friendly staff. But the memory care area is too small for active family members.

"Best Choice for Mom Wonderful Care and Amazing Staff!"
My mother and I are so happy we picked Sodalis at Stone Oak for her assisted living care! The staff and management are amazing and always go above and beyond to help her. She’s staying active and has made lifelong friends in the dining room. The on-site beautician is fantastic! The grounds are beautiful, and the residents love spending time on the porch. The food and chefs are outstanding! I can't say enough good things about this place. You won’t regret bringing your loved one here I certainly didn’t!

"Dad is doing great!"
My dad is at this facility, and he has settled in nicely. I love that he's there. The staff is attentive and happy with their jobs, which makes a huge difference in how well they do their tasks. This is a 5-star facility, but more importantly, they give 5-star care!

"Very Pleased With the Care"
Mom really enjoys living here. The staff is super friendly and actively engages with the residents. Mom participates in some of the activities they offer. While she generally likes the food, occasionally there’s something not so great. Overall, we highly recommend this community—we’re very impressed with the care they provide for my mom.

"Fantastic Community, Very Happy With My Mom's New Home"
This is a fantastic place, and my mom is really happy here. I’m very happy with everything they’ve done for us. The director is always around and makes sure the staff are doing their job. The staff are amazing helpful and friendly whenever I visit. Since it’s a brand new facility, everything looks great and it’s very clean. They always have activities for the residents to enjoy throughout the day. The meals are really good too. I feel confident that she is safe and well cared for. This community is truly wonderful, and I highly recommend it.
