"Inconsistent Quality in Assisted Living Facility"
This place was all over the place. Meds, food, care, cleaning, upkeep, activities, and management were hit or miss. They need someone watching out for residents' families.

"Mixed Experience"
The housekeeping needs improvement, but the staff is friendly. Communication with family is lacking, and meals are just okay. The move-in process went fine. My recommendation is 50/50. The cost is high, but staff remains friendly.

"Disappointing Care: Understaffed, Unresponsive Management at Assisted Living"
This place didn't impress me. There aren't enough staff, and when we talked to the director, [name removed], she said she's in charge of everything but doesn't take responsibility for anything. She ignores all the problems. It's really sad that my parent is living in such a bad place. They're good at raising prices, reducing staff, and making money.

"Not much improvement despite regular visits; advocacy seems ineffective."
Visit the place often and make sure to speak up, but honestly, it doesn't seem like it helps much.

"Memory Care Unit Disappoints, Can't Properly Assist Residents."
My husband was in their memory care unit. They told us they understood his condition and could manage him. It turned out they couldn't, as they had to send him to Oceans. Whenever we would visit, I saw that the residents just sat there, doing nothing, not walking nor talking. It almost felt like they were doped up. I, too, would suggest people to avoid their memory care unit.

"Food quality matters for residents."
The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. But the food needs improvement. Our relative finds it small, unhealthy, and repetitive. Overall, we're happy with Savannah Grand.

"Clean, Friendly, and Caring Assisted Living with Excellent Staff"
The assisted living community is exceptionally tidy, and the staff is extremely friendly. One standout Medtech, a young man, was particularly impressive with his kindness. The food is satisfying, and they provide excellent care for residents. I would confidently recommend this community to others.

"Assisted Living with Homemade Desserts; Communication Key to Satisfaction"
We chose Spring Creek Village because it's close by and offered us a delicious homemade dessert, giving us confidence in their meals. Being part of a larger company, we expected better resources, especially for memory care. Initially, there were hiccups; it seemed like no one was following through on medication checks, and there were communication problems. However, once we raised these issues, they were promptly addressed. From what I see on their Facebook page, they offer plenty of activities for residents. They're excellent at keeping us informed about any changes. According to my mom, they serve three meals plus snacks, which she enjoys. She feels well cared for. I'd recommend it to others, but advise them to advocate for their loved ones to ensure everything runs smoothly and communication stays clear.

"Pleasant but Pricier Spring Creek Village"
Spring Creek Village was a pleasant place to be. The people working there were really nice and always ready to help. The place was in good condition and very clean. But we picked a different place that was within our budget.

"Dismayed at Spring Creek Village's Negligence"
Headline: I'm feeling frustrated with Spring Creek Village. They gave me a call informing me that my mom had a minor mishap, saying she'd hit her head. So, I promptly headed over to the facility. Upon arrival, I noticed that my mom's arm was bloated. They hadn't even bothered to place an ice pack on the swelling. Without wasting time, I rushed her to an immediate healthcare clinic. When we were seriously considering moving her to this place, I had specifically made it clear that falling was a risk for her. They explained that they had helped her get up and then left her on her own to assist other residents. She's back at home with us now.

"Comfortable and Happy Place for My Father; Recommend to Friends"
My dad's doing really well here. Everything's going smoothly, and I'm okay with him being here. It's a nice place with friendly people. The staff is good, they keep things clean. Whenever I visit, his room and the place overall look nice. I've told my friends about it too. It's a really nice place.

"Staff Friendly but Lack Activities and Engagement."
The staff at this assisted living community is quite sociable and offers satisfactory care to all residents. However, their activities and communication require improvement. Throughout my dad's stay, there was only one instance where I saw an activity - a kids' basketball hoop placed in the living room. I had to transfer my dad elsewhere because he needed more engagement and activities.

"Clean and friendly assisted living community, slightly distant."
I really liked how open this place was. When I visited, they were adding on a new part, which was cool. The folks I talked to were friendly. Everything seemed really clean and neat. Only thing is, it's a bit farther away than we wanted.

"Great care and activities!"
The staff did a great job keeping our family informed and staying up to date on our loved one's progress. The meals and activities were excellent, and my mother's room was always clean. However, there could have been better interaction between hospice and the caregivers at the community.

""Staff Turnover High, Good Employees Always Leave""
My mom lives here and every time she makes friends with someone new, bam! They're gone. I don't know what the problem is, but the boss really needs to fix things and make the staff happy. I don't know if it's about the pay or what, but this is becoming really frustrating. The funky part is why does it always happen to the good ones? They keep on the bad ones. We're going to start looking for a new place.

"Sub-Par Care and a Fall at Nice Facility."
Our stay wasn't too great. A fall happened and no one told us about it for days. We didn't even get any paperwork on it. Ever since, she's not been herself. The place looks nice, but the people there didn't do their job well, and it looks like it's hurt my loved one for good.

"Best Place for My Mom!"
Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. They identify my mother’s needs and address our concerns. When my mother moved from her home to another state, everything was different. But they placed her at a dinner table with well-traveled people, and she fit right in. The chef even prepares special meals based on her preferences. They’ve discovered her favorite activities and make sure she attends them. Before coming here, my mother wasn’t eating or socializing. Now, she enjoys two meals a day in the dining room, attends events, and even goes out for lunch every Friday. Her mental, emotional, and physical health have significantly improved since joining the community. We considered several places in Texas and Louisiana, but I don’t think we could have found a better place!

"Clean Facility with Friendly Staff, But Some Issues"
My aunt has been here for 1 month. She had knee surgery right after moving in, so I’ve had outside caregivers with her 24 hours a day to help. Because of that, I can’t really judge the staff yet. The facility is very clean and always smells nice. Most of the staff is really friendly. There have been some issues with staff not coming to her room quickly when she presses the button, which worries me. I talked to management about this, and they’re working on it. We also had problems with the attendant not picking up dishes when my aunt eats in her room. I mentioned this to them too. We'll see if that gets better. They have a lot of activities and entertainment for the residents, and my aunt loves the food.

"Worth Considering!"
My family member lives at Spring Creek Village Senior Living Community. The food is really good, and the dining experience is enjoyable. They have a wait staff to help the residents. One thing I worry about is how long it takes for staff to respond during emergencies. Sometimes, because of low staffing, they don't react quickly. But overall, the community feels safe and secure.

"Very Happy with Magnolia Heights"
I am really happy with the new management at Magnolia Heights. They are very helpful and quick to fix any problems. Just the other day, I heard a new family moving their parents in say they really liked the food. So, it’s not just me who thinks the food is great compared to other care homes. The building is beautiful and, in my opinion, one of the best in the Spring area.

"Understaffed Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"
This place doesn't have enough workers. It's new but not busy enough. People are nice when they can help, but they're doing many jobs. Our family member needs a lot of care, but sometimes when he asks for help, nobody comes right away, which could be dangerous. I think once they have more money, it'll be a great place.

"Gorgeous Facility, Troubling Service at Magnolia Heights"
My mom stayed at Magnolia Heights just over a month. Right away, I knew it was a bad decision. The first night, the call button system broke, and they said it might be fixed the next day, adding that I could take her home if I wanted. They didn't seem worried about fixing it; it kept failing while she was there. There were medication errors a few times, one medicine was completely missed for 5 days, and another was given twice. I might not even know about some errors. There was a time when I was told by their main nurse that a marked medication isn't necessarily given. On top of that, they wouldn't give her daily showers. Even on the days she was supposed to, she'd often wait two hours. Her room cleaning schedule was just as unpredictable. I’d frequently find garbage on the floor during my visits. Getting her newspaper also was a problem. She kept looking for her Chronicle. The Executive Director blamed the paper's staff and suggested that they hand deliver it to each room, which doesn't sound safe for a "secure" building. Fresh produce was scarce, most of their food came from cans or was frozen, not fresh. They also won't give injections, like B12, referring to it as "skilled nursing". Overall, I found the management to be lazy, uncaring, sloppy, silent and careless. They broke numerous promises. When I confronted them, they said I expected too much. To their credit, the building is beautiful, but it's not in a great location. The caregivers are mostly new, but they're kind and good to my mom. The activities director was great at involving my mom and making her feel welcome. I transferred my mom to a different place, which is way better. If Magnolia wants to survive, they should hire a new management team that cares and willing to make improvements.

""Cautious Alert: Inadequate Professional Care Forces State Interventions""
This place is terrible. If your family member makes one little mistake, the state takes them away. Two people were taken away in just three days. The nurses here lack competence for their duties. They should be professionals who can take care of the residents. But that's not the case, they're sent to some secure place in Tomball.

"Care Facility Fails to Keep Promises: Negative Ten Stars!"
If I could, I'd rate them at negative ten stars! They've been nothing but trouble. They promised us they had a doctor on staff who could constantly refill prescriptions. But that turned out to be untrue. They let two of my family member's prescriptions expire. They then had the audacity to say our loved one was too tall to return. This information was shared with us on the same day they were getting discharged from the hospital! I've been present when there wasn't a single nurse or manager around to assist. I've even seen prescription bottles carelessly left out at the nurses station, easy for anyone to grab. They never made efforts to clean the room, empty trash cans, or even vacuum. They failed to involve our loved ones in any activities. They only have one team of workers, including an RN who looks after several places, and the rest do everything from laundry to cooking.

"Improving leadership brings hope to beautiful assisted living facility."
Just learned that the community got a new leader it's about time! As a family member, I'm hopeful things will get better fast without the old Director. The place looks amazing, and the staff do their best, but it always seemed like something was holding them back. For now, I'm keeping my mom here, trusting that they can do what I believe they're capable of.

"Unhappy Harper at Messy and Monotonous Retirement Home"
Our family member doesn't enjoy this place and neither do we. It feels like things here are disorganized and chaotic. The meals here are terrible! A man even threw his plate on the floor because the food was so bad. Nothing tastes fresh and everything seems to come either from the freezer or made in advance. They don't even offer cakes or pies for dessert. The food lacks taste, freshness, and is just awful! The kitchen staff, while friendly, doesn’t seem capable. Furthermore, there aren't any social events around. The dining hall is often silent, not lively or buzzing with social interaction. Also, the nursing station is inconveniently located at the end of a long hallway. Sometimes the nurses respond when called, and other times they don't. Garbage is collected during the workweek, but not during weekends. Feels like they include charges for every little thing. Despite the staff's good nature, they don't seem to be much help at all. They're kind-hearted, but not particularly helpful. It almost feels like they opened for business before they were ready.

"DIRECTOR RUDE, LONG WAIT TIMES FOR HELP AT LOCAL CENTER"
THIS ASSISTED LIVING CENTER LACKS ADEQUATE STAFF RESPONSE. AFTER PRESSING THE HELP BUTTON, IT OFTEN TAKES AROUND AN HOUR BEFORE ANYONE ASSISTS. THE DIRECTOR IS DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS INDIVIDUALS. THE MEALS PROVIDED ARE UNSATISFACTORY. I WOULD STRONGLY ENCOURAGE PEOPLE NOT TO CONSIDER THIS PLACE . ALTHOUGH IT'S VISUALLY APPEALING AND MAINTAINS CLEANLINESS, THE QUALITY OF CARE IS BELOW PAR.

"Unfriendly Staff and Poor Service in a Nice-looking Facility"
This place is real nice looking, but it's managed really poorly. I kept calling for help for over an hour before anybody showed up. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. The amount of staff they have at night and during weekends seems to be pretty low. The food is far from decent too. The person in charge was super nasty to a friend of mine.

"Modern and Welcoming Assisted Living Loved by Residents"
They've been really good. My dad got a room there when it first opened, and the staff is super nice. From what I hear, the activities are fun. Even though my dad doesn't join in much, they keep encouraging him. I think he enjoys the Wednesday happy hour the most. All the residents seem to love it! The place is beautiful, especially because it's so new. I noticed one lady even has a room with a patio! Dad's studio room is spacious compared to his old one. It's got a kitchen area with a sink, fridge, and microwave. Everything's spotless because it's brand new. They just opened up in June.
