"Clean, friendly community with great updates for families"
My family and loved one have had a good experience here. Every time we visit, the place is clean. Everyone is friendly, and the staff is always ready to help. They keep the family updated about any changes with our loved one, which is a big plus. Overall, we would recommend this community to others.

"Great Assisted Living Facility with Room for Improvement"
I would suggest calling different places to find one that suits you best and try to get on the waiting list if you can. The place itself is really great and the activities they offer are really fun. However, I think they should make it easier to get in and out of the memory care area, and they should work on making the dining experience smoother.

"Limited Availability for Mom"
The place seems nice, but they don’t have room for my mom.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living: Outdoor Access, Maintenance Lapses"
I thought the rooms were nice because you could go outside from them. But, I saw some lights not working and cables showing in the common areas. The staff member we talked to was nice, but I felt like they didn't keep things in good shape.

"Clean Facility, Friendly Staff, Bad Food, Beautiful Views"
The place is really clean. The staff are pretty nice, but I think they need more people. They pay attention and are good at giving the right therapy, which is helping. The food is awful; it looks like dog food and the portions are tiny. There's no creativity in the meals, but they just hired a new chef, so it might get better. I like the size of the community; it's not too big. The view of the ranch lands is beautiful.

"Observant and Proactive Care"
The place is really clean. The staff is friendly, but maybe they need more people. They pay attention to care and offer helpful therapy. The food isn't great—it looks like dog food. But they just got a new chef, so maybe it'll get better. I like the community size; it's not too big. The view of ranch lands is beautiful.

"Beautiful, Clean Facility with Attentive Staff and Expansion Plans"
This is a beautiful, fairly new, and very clean place with a helpful and informative staff. The young lady who gave us a tour wasn’t the main contact person, but she was great. Most of the residents we saw were pretty independent and able to move around easily, though the memory care area was secure for those needing more help. If it weren’t for the cost and maybe the size, I’d choose this place for my mom. They do plan to expand and make it even bigger.

"Assisted living had fun activities but poor treatment and safety."
My dad enjoyed bingo and games, using Stoney Brook Bucks for auctions. But staff talked down to him and me, making us feel unwelcome. I wouldn't recommend it. The directors were rude and unkind, mistreating both residents and staff. My dad was even assaulted there, and they didn't handle it properly. It's all about money to them. However, there was one person who was helpful and listened to us. Despite its beauty and affordability, the directors' behavior made it unbearable. We had to move him out.

"Poor Management Outweighs Lovely Amenities"
My father enjoyed participating in bingo and other activities. They had a unique currency system known as Stoney Brook Bucks which could be used to buy items at monthly auctions. However, aside from these nice touches, the care my dad received was disappointing. The staff spoke to him condescendingly and even tried to do the same with me. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone. Despite its beautiful appearance and affordable cost, the poor management and lack of respect shown to residents and staff is widespread. Shockingly, my dad was attacked by another resident twice, which was never officially reported. Their response was just to tell them to get along. I reported this to the state. It seems they didn't appreciate my dad's outspoken nature. Despite it all being about money, we were finally assisted by an upper-level staff member who showed kindness and listened to our concerns. I valued her help greatly. The place is aesthetically pleasing and financially reasonable, but the directors' awful behavior outweighs any positives. We ended up relocating him.
