"A Positive Experience at The Abbey Assisted Living"
My family member stayed at The Abbey and it was mostly good. The staff was really nice, although there weren't enough of them at times. They were hiring more staff, though. It took a while to get my family member's care plan and medicine sorted because they were looking for a new Wellness Director. The food was really good. They had fun activities and nice facilities. We checked out a bunch of other places and The Abbey was definitely the best for what you get overall.

"Abbey: Friendly, improving care with communication challenges and staff shortages."
The Abbey is friendly, and my Mom gets good care. I've been more involved than I wanted, dealing with medication and response times. They listen to my concerns. Staff communication is easy, but food gets mixed reviews. They're renovating units. Caregivers are decent, but there's a staff shortage. I'm hopeful for improvements.

"Location convenient, director impressive, but preferred hometown care."
The place was super close to where my daughter and us were staying, which was really good. We thought the director, whose name I won't say, was really great. But in the end, we figured our loved one would do better back in our hometown. We think he'd get the same care at an assisted living place there, not specifically for memory care like The Abbey.

When we moved our loved one to the Abbey assisted living facility, it felt like family. The staff was friendly and professional, and the food was good.
