"Great place but too formal for my casual preference."

I thought The Forum at Lincoln Heights was a great place. It was very nice, but I preferred a more casual setting over the formal environment there.

"Friendly Staff, But Need Clearer Communication"

The people working at the Forum are really nice and polite. They treat everyone well. When my husband’s parents got there before their stuff did, the Forum let them stay in an apartment that had furniture. This was until all their things got there, which took a few more days. The big thing we worry about as their family is figuring out who we should talk to when problems pop up. We don’t think it’s always good to just talk to someone who sells the place.

"Great Food and Beautiful Grounds Make Recovery Possible"

My uncle needed good food to help him recover from surgery. I checked out 6 different places in San Antonio and found The Forum had the best food. He also loves being around nature, so having beautiful grounds was important. All the basics like friendly staff, clean rooms, and good care were good at The Forum and the other places I visited. The Forum let us use a respite apartment for a week and allowed us to bring in 24-hour nursing care. This setup comfortable living space, lovely surroundings, great food, and round-the-clock nursing has been perfect for my uncle, and he’s getting better. Thanks to A Place for Mom for helping us find it.

"Helpful Staff and Great Food Make This Place Stand Out"

The staff is very helpful and makes sure you get settled in. The food is tasty. We haven't had any issues with the laundry service or parking. What makes this place special is the people who work here. Residents can stay here comfortably as they get older.

"Friendly Staff, Convenient Location, Lacking Organization"

I went there one day for lunch, but I forgot to write it down. The people were really nice and friendly. It's an assisted living place across the street.

"Popped In for a Visit During Lunch - Quite Friendly"

I dropped in one day during lunch, but didn't write it down. The people seemed really kind and welcoming. There's assisted living right across the way.

"Next Time, Tour on Different Days"

My spouse and I checked out this facility for my parents. We met She our tour guide, and she was great. But, when my siblings went on a second tour, things didn't go as well. Their tour guide She was pretty blunt and not very nice. They also thought she wasn't really paying attention to their details about our parent's needs. As a result, they weren't happy with the experience, leading us to choose another facility. We've learned it's important to tour on multiple days to meet various staff members.
