"Uncle's Happy Home in Dated Decor, Recommend for Seniors"
The Forum at the Woodlands community has older decorations. The place and grounds are nice, but some sidewalks are uneven and could make you trip. The food is great. Overall, my uncle loves living there and has a nice apartment that's just right for him. The appliances are a bit old but still do the job. He's really happy there. I would definitely suggest it to others.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Nice Place, Secluded Memory Care"
I visited this place, and I think it's nice. It looks beautiful. But I didn't like how they set up the memory care area. It's all the way in the back and feels very isolated. The other floors seem really good though.

"Good facility but better for more mobile seniors. Nice overall."
I visited The Forum at the Woodlands, and it was really nice. My mom couldn't manage her needs well because she had mobility problems. This place would be great for someone who can move around more easily. It's a nice place, and I would have liked it if my mom didn't have those mobility issues.

"Spacious Needs Unmet at Beautiful Assisted Living Community"
The assisted living community looked really nice with all the trees around. During our tour, everyone was friendly and answered our questions well. We were hoping for a big bedroom for our king-size bed and three meals a day. However, when we checked out the bedrooms, they weren't big enough for us. They didn't match what we were looking for.

"Caring Staff and Good Activities"
This is a great place for care. The staff is kind and caring. My mom likes the community, but it could use some small improvements. She says the meals are good, though sometimes she's not happy with them. They have activities for her to join, and she enjoys the many options, but they could offer more. We recommend families tour this community for their loved ones.

"Safe and Good Community for Parents"
My folks are doing fine since they came here. No complaints yet, and I feel good about their choice. There have been some staff changes since they arrived, and a bit of admin shuffling too. But it's not bad, just takes getting used to. Overall, it's a nice, safe place, and I'd suggest it. It's working out for us.

"Not Ideal for Mom’s Preferences"

The Forum at the Woodlands is a beautiful community. The staff is very professional and attentive. I took multiple tours, and they answered all of my questions. They offer a wide range of activities that keep your mind active. The community has won awards and is next to a beautiful lake, plus there's a pool. The quality of life here is amazing. "Great staff and activities, but label low sodium meals too!"
The staff at The Forum at the Woodlands are really helpful and keep in touch with family. There are lots of activities, and she loves playing bingo. The meals are great with four different choices at every meal. It would be nice if low sodium options were labeled clearly like the sugar-free ones. The place is always clean and updated.

"Overpriced Due to Location, Not Quality; Minuscule Rooms"
We took a look at this place while trying to find a good care home for our family member. But, the cost here was way too much. It didn't seem like they were charging this much because they provide superior care. It felt like they were asking for high payment mostly because of its fancy location, not because of the care they provide. The rooms were only 400 square feet, which is way too small for two people to share, especially considering the amount they ask you to pay.

"Well-Kept, Friendly Place"
Even though it’s an older complex, it’s very well maintained, welcoming, and clean. The two-story townhomes are surrounded by lush trees and foliage, creating a quiet and serene atmosphere. The kitchens felt a bit dated and small, but the social areas were spacious and always bustling with activities. Residents seemed happy, despite the narrow and winding hallways. They also offer a life alert-style pendant.

"Friendliness and Activity Abound at The Forum: Kristin Penney's Domain"
The Forum, is a bit of an older place, but it's kept up really well. It's inviting, clean, and always humming with activity. It's got a cozy vibe since it has two-story town homes nestled within a bunch of trees and greenery. It's super quiet and peaceful. The apartments come in all sorts of sizes, but I thought the kitchens seemed dated and too small. The common areas are spacious, though, and there's always something going on. It's clear the folks living there are content. The hallways are a bit narrow and twisty. They offer Independent Living starting at $2875 for 475 square feet to $3900 for 859 square feet. Assisted Living begins at $5124 for 479 square feet. They provide memory care, but we didn't talk about that. They have an emergency pendant system like Life Alert. There's a doctor who comes by once a week, a nursing staff from 7 am to 11 pm, and medication care overnight. It costs $2500 to sign up.

"The Sooner the Better"
We talked to Place for Mom, and based on our needs, they recommended five different facilities for us to check out. After visiting them all, we decided to move to The Forum in The Woodlands. It's important to start the process early. Once we chose our new place, we sorted out our furniture and contacted an auction company to sell what we weren't taking with us. Now we're packing up and getting ready to move. Place for Mom helped us make the right choice, and we're very happy with it.

"Friendly staff, outdated decor, cleanliness concerns"
My family looked at this place for our older relative. The folks here were friendly, and the staff were nice and helpful. But the way the place looked and how clean it was didn't impress us. It felt old-fashioned and not very well taken care of. The pet-friendly room they showed us had dirty marks all over the carpet.

"Small, Cozy Facility with Helpful Staff"
My sister and I really liked this place. It was our top choice, but we couldn’t get my mother in, so we had to find another option for her. We were impressed because it’s a smaller facility, making it feel really homey. We could easily picture our mom sitting in a recliner, watching TV with the other residents. The staff is extremely helpful and knows a lot.

"Best Value for Assisted Living Highly Recommended!"
I looked at a lot of places, and this one was the best. It's not just the price that's great, but also the value of what they offer. My mom is currently in independent care, but they do have assisted living options available here. I would definitely suggest checking this place out during your search.
