The Hampton at Meadows Place

"Good place, a few issues, overall great value."
Brookdale has been great for me in my second month here. It's clean, and the people are nice. There are still some things I'm not happy with, like the $16 fee just to take me to get a meal and go back to my room. I think they can improve that. Other than that, everyone is very nice to me, from management to the kitchen staff. If something's wrong, they fix it right away. I had a bug problem, and they sent someone to fumigate quickly. The food is good, with lots of choices. The staff will bring me food because I can't get it myself. They have a big menu and change it up often. Every day they offer soup to start, and there's a salad bar. They clean thoroughly every other week, take out trash three times a week, and keep everything nice. There are lots of activities like poker and movies. They offer free transportation to doctor's appointments and make sure they don't miss you when you come back. I've checked many places, and some are more expensive. This is a good value, and I recommend living here.

"Not recommended, bad advice, no follow-up, no male aides."
I wouldn't recommend this community to anyone, especially if they're mobile. The staff want residents to be calm and not agitated. The Executive Director, [name], was very accommodating and pleasant during the tour, and signing up was great. However, we received bad advice from the community about getting my loved one in and settled. Right after our loved one moved in, the family got a call asking us to take them out because they were agitated and didn't want to stay. I requested the community fee be returned, but there has been no follow-up. Also, there are no male aides or nurses in the memory care unit to help residents.

"Great Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Lots of Activities"
The Hampton at Meadows Place is a really nice community. It's modern, and the staff have been there for a long time, so they know everyone's name. The director even walks around to greet residents. They have family activities every month, holiday parties, and daily events. The caregivers are dedicated to giving the best care, and we recommend this place to other families.

"Great Care and Diabetic Support"
We picked this place because they help with diabetes. He wasn’t ready for a nursing home, so assisted living was perfect. The caregivers are awesome, and the food is good. They make sure he gets a diabetic diet. The staff are great at helping him stick to his diet. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Mixed Experience at The Hamptons: Slow Care and Limited Activities"
I was looking for a place for my elderly parents who've lived with me for 13 years. The Hamptons at Meadows Place seemed promising—they accommodated our needs and even considered my mom's dog. But the first 3 weeks have been tough. The care promises were slow to materialize, and there's no clear system for welcoming new residents. The staff listens but doesn't always follow through. Also, the activities are limited. Despite this, I remain involved and hopeful.

"Entrance Hassle at Memory Care Facility"
This place feels safe, and my friend trusts it for her care. The staff is okay, and the facility is clean. My only issue is relying on staff to let me in I miss having a code.

"Safety Concerns Amid Management Changes"
This place used to be great for my mom, but things changed with new management and nursing. Now, I'm worried about her safety. Staff seem stressed and uninformed. Considering other options next month.

"Found a Smaller Community After Impressive Visit"
During the tour, I noticed every floor had a screened porch, which impressed me. The community was quite large, and I worried he might feel lost during a short stay. So, we decided to choose a smaller community instead.

"Disappointed with Manager Change at The Hamptons Assisted Living"
This place was okay until now. We liked it here, but we're upset because one of the good managers left. We want our Nurse back. I'm worried about leaving my loved one here. Signed, not a happy camper.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Care"
So far, the helpers are nice and mostly caring. But, sometimes they seem stressed and not so patient with residents who have memory problems. My mom has a hard time here. This is just the start of a long journey for her. My family and I will be here every day to make sure she's taken care of and not forgotten. We'll wait and see what happens next.
