"Poorly Managed Assisted Living Facility with Subpar Conditions and Care"
We went to see our friend at this place often. Lately, we've been checking out assisted living for ourselves. When we looked closer during our recent visits, we saw that the folks in charge here seem more into themselves than caring about the people living here. My friend had a problem and told the manager a bunch of times, but he just said she could leave if she didn't like it, without trying to fix anything. There aren't enough workers around (good luck finding help after 5 pm), and the place smells bad (like cat pee in the parking lot and moldy floors). Because of this, the care here is not great. So, we picked somewhere else in the end.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Comfort"
The care was bad. He wasn't in the right room. He stayed in one place for hours with no one checking on him. He was handled roughly when moved. Overall, I'd give it a 2, being generous.

"Understaffed, slow service, unresponsive to complaints. Sore from waiting."
The helpers at this place are sometimes just two for 55 of us, which means it takes forever to get anything done. I’ve told them about it, but it’s like talking to a brick wall. I get that I’m not in a rush, but sitting around for ages makes my butt hurt.

"Assisted living needs major improvements new manager offers hope."
They got a new boss, so I'm crossing my fingers for things to get better. Right now, I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. They've got a lot of work to do. Here's what needs fixing: the yard, keeping the place clean, tidying up the residents' rooms, dealing with bugs inside and outside, and they shouldn't be charging for taking home leftover dinners. We picked this spot because it's close to me and they had room for us.

"Assisted Living Facility Fell Short, Major Concerns, Horrible Experience"
This place was a letdown from the start. It's too big for the few people working there. Nothing ever got done. They put my nice mom with a mean person. Also, they gave her the wrong medicine. Can't trust them. We moved her out fast. It was awful.

"Rude staff, tour didn't meet needs"
Our family had a virtual tour, and it didn't meet our needs. I don't remember the name, but the guy who was my contact was rude and suggested I was settling for less than the best for our loved one when I wasn't interested in his facility.

"Great doctor, attentive staff, and worth the cost."
The on-site doctor here is great, which many smaller places lack. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it because my mom is doing very well here, unlike before. They work hard to make both residents and families happy and listen to any questions or concerns. They offer activities, but my mom hasn’t tried them yet. We’re planning to attend a church service this weekend to get her started. I would recommend this place and have already done so.

"Quality Assisted Living Choice with Great Staff and Affordable Prices"
We picked The Heritage Tomball because I liked the staff when I first met them, the location is good, and it's a good deal. The apartments are just right for my mom. She loves the food. I would suggest it to others looking.

"Mixed Experience at The Heritage Tomball"
I have mixed feelings about The Heritage Tomball. While I'd suggest it with some reservations, there were issues. The staff shortage during my loved one's stay was concerning. They only received one shower per week instead of the expected two. Additionally, due to the pandemic, church services couldn't resume. The assigned seating in the dining room wasn't clearly communicated to residents.

In this community, it seems you get what you pay for. However, for my mother, different care was necessary. Overall, no complaints about the community—it just wasn't the right fit for our loved one.
