"Room For Improvement at Cedar Ridge Facility"

My mom moved into the Isle at Cedar Ridge after we visited many other places. The cost is reasonable for the room size. But, the nursing staff's response time is really, really bad. There was a time when the call system was down for about a week. This was hard for my mom because she relies on help for personal things. It seems like they change nurses pretty often too. When my mom moved there, the main nurse left two weeks after and was replaced. The food is okay, but it's super salty. My mom's feet started to swell after starting to eat there. I talked to the boss and they said they only give food that is low in salt but that doesn't look true. They do have cool stuff like music programs and the person in charge of activities is really nice. The cleaning crew is awesome. They wash clothes at least three times a week and everything is super clean. All in all, this place is not the worst. It could be really great if they just fixed a few things, like how quickly the nurses react.

"Good Community, Nursing Could Be Better"

My mom’s doing pretty good since she started living here. I know she’s in a safe place, but I’m not really happy with the nursing right now. They’re always getting new caregivers, which isn’t the best. They should really get some better ones. The nursing care could definitely get better. Besides that, everything’s going fine. My mom got used to this place fast, and she fits in just right. They’ve got a super cool person who plans all the activities, and there’s always fun stuff to do and cool shows to watch. Eating here is awesome, and the food tastes amazing. The women working at the front desk are super nice. It’s a pretty good place overall, just hoping they’ll improve the nursing care soon.

"Unwelcoming Environment and Small Rooms Disappointing"

I visited this place to potentially move my husband there. I didn't like how gloomy and sad it felt. The current residents didn't appear joyful or cheerful, which didn't create a welcoming ambiance. On top of that, the bedrooms were incredibly tiny. Despite being a lovely-looking place, it wasn't the right fit for us.

"Perfect place for my loved one!"

My loved one’s stay at The Isle is going really well! The staff is friendly, and the place is kept nice and clean. Even though my loved one doesn’t join in many activities, there are plenty of them available. It really feels like the right place for my loved one!

"Touring Dark Assisted Living Community Not Ideal for Mom"

I visited this place for my mom. I didn't like that they keep the inside really dark. My mom enjoys spaces with open windows. The people working there were kind, but it wasn't the right choice for my mom.

"Assisted Living with Higher Care but Limited Activities"

This place is for people who need a lot of care. I think it was assisted living type B. We noticed that there weren't many activities for the residents. Our mom is more mentally sharp than most of the other people there.
