"Excellent Care and Comfort at The Landing Assisted Living"
The Landing is a wonderful place for your loved one to live. If something goes wrong, the manager and staff are quick to fix it. The rooms stay neat and the food tastes good!

"Mostly friendly staff, good housekeeping, needs better communication and consistency."
The staff is mostly friendly, but some are only occasionally so. Housekeeping is pretty good, though I wish it was more than once a week. I started washing my mom's clothes myself after some items went missing. There's not much communication with family; I only hear from staff when I call. The move-in process was smooth with no complaints. My main recommendation is for more consistency. I've seen a lot of new faces in the short time my mom has been here. She relies on one person for help with dressing and bathing, but then ends up with someone new. It would also be nice if they reached out to families more. An email or phone call from the head nurse would be appreciated.

"Colorful Carpet Concerns at Assisted Living"
We visited The Landing at Watercrest Shadow Creek Ranch while looking for an Assisted Living place for my mom. The tour was great! We learned a lot. The facility provides different levels of care, and the staff is friendly. However, the carpet has wild colors and patterns that made me feel dizzy as I walked down the hallway. My mom would find it bothersome, just like the long hallways.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short, Fails to Deliver Promised Care"
This place looks nice in pictures and online, but it's all a facade. When you sign up, they promise great stuff, but once you're there, it's like they forget. The people who work there seem to change a lot because they don't pay them enough, and some aren't even qualified to do their jobs. That's not safe. One time, they dropped my mom and hurt her foot really bad, and nothing happened to the person who did it. They even let some workers live there, which is just weird. And they never seem to have enough staff, especially in the part where they take care of people who need extra help. It's just not good. When I visited, it smelled really bad in the memory care area.

"Mixed Experience at The Landing at Watercrest"
I had to make a calendar for nurses to mark when they gave medications because they weren't showing up. Some staff were nice to my grandma, but others were rude and got fired. It took way too long for them to answer calls to the room—more than 30 minutes sometimes. If you're thinking of using The Landing at Watercrest, switch your pharmacy services to theirs from the start. It'll save you time and headaches. Same goes for primary care. Depending on your needs, it could be a good place, but they might not have enough staff.
