"Discrepancies in Promises and Reality at Assisted Living Facility"
The place is smaller than expected, and some caretakers are nicer than others. They said they'd follow special diets, but we doubt they have.

"Caring Staff, Clean Facility, Unfair Business Practices"
I really liked this place because it's based on Christian values and I felt a positive energy when I visited. The staff was really kind and attentive to my husband while he was alive. There was a house manager, whose name I won't mention, who was truly amazing and took great care of my husband. The place was always clean, they did his laundry and kept the floors tidy. The food seemed healthy but I noticed a lack of fresh fruits and vegetables. I'd say about three-quarters of the food was either canned or frozen. I'm only giving 2 stars because I'm not satisfied with how they handle their business. They charged a $3000 fee upfront that we couldn't get back. Plus, we had to pay the next month's rent in advance. Sadly, my husband passed away shortly after moving in and I discovered there's a 30-day notice requirement for leaving. I had to continue paying rent even after he was gone. I asked if they could refund at least half a month's rent but they didn't offer anything. I feel like I was taken advantage of and they lacked compassion in their approach.
