"Nice Community, Needs Better Assisted Living Care"
I was very disappointed for the price we paid. The community areas looked nice, but the cleaning in the personal apartments wasn't good. Wet towels were left in piles after showers and got musty. There was always a lot of dust, the floors stayed dirty, and we found huge dust bunnies when we moved out furniture. Trash wasn't picked up over the weekends. Most of the staff was friendly, but many couldn't handle the moodiness of residents with dementia, which was most of the people there. After we gave our move-out notice, we were mostly ignored. The type of care we needed did not match the care we got. They are terribly understaffed for the number of residents. When we pressed the call button, someone responded only about 30% of the time, even after we reported that the button wasn't working properly for two months. The food was hit or miss on flavor and usually cool by the time we got it. For people who probably don't have all their teeth, the meats were hard to chew. Ice cream was the usual dessert, which is not good for people with dairy allergies. This place is more for Independent Living than Assisted Living.

"Friendly Staff and Helpful Service!"
The staff at Anthology of Denton are really nice and caring. Moving into Assisted Living was more complicated than I thought. The Sales Director and Nursing staff were super helpful and patient as I figured things out for my dad. The dining situation is changing, but they're short on staff. My dad gets medical visits and PT three times a week, which has been great. I'd recommend Anthology of Denton to others.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The assisted living facility didn't meet my expectations. The assistance provided wasn't great, and the food fell short of what they advertised. However, the in-house therapy was excellent. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone needing regular restroom assistance due to some maintenance issues.

"Good care but pricey; staff shortage and move to Georgia"
The facility is a bit pricey, so know what you're getting. During my visit, Anthology was short-staffed, and my mom sometimes missed her showers. My parents enjoyed the food and activities. I found the upper-level staff helpful. I didn't get to know the rest of the team. After 8 months, we moved my parents to Georgia to be closer to us.

"Lousy Assisted Living Facility Fails on All Fronts"
This place is really bad. The staff keeps changing, and everything is a mess. When we left, they gave us the wrong medicine. They don't tell you about fees, and they ignore your calls.

"Mixed Feelings About Spacious Assisted Living Community"
The place was huge, but it didn't feel like home—more like an institution. People seemed happy, but it was too spread out. The modern, attractive community just wasn't right for my loved one.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience: Uncooperative Staff, Limited Interaction"
I didn't like this place at all. I checked out many other places, but this one just didn't click. The area wasn't nice, and everyone seemed bored. It wasn't the right fit, and they weren't helpful or good at talking with us. Everything was scheduled, and we couldn't spend enough time with our family member. It cost too much, and the fees kept going up. It just didn't work out. The person in charge was always busy and never had time to talk. The place looks nice, but everything is hard to deal with. It used to be great, but when new people took over, it went downhill.

"Great staff and activities, but dining waits are long"
The facility is very organized, and the staff is friendly and responsive. It's clean, and they have music groups that visit for the residents. They offer exercise classes, Bible studies, and help residents find others with similar interests. The only issue is with dining: sometimes residents have to wait up to an hour for their food.

"Beautiful facility with hard-working staff, but some staffing issues"
We really like Anthology of Denton. It’s a beautiful place. The staff work hard to offer fun activities and games for visiting families. Due to COVID, they’ve had some trouble keeping enough staff. Sometimes we help with laundry, but the director is always honest and clear when we have questions.
