"Mixed Experience, Still Recommend"
Things have improved after several meetings. If you're considering this place, make sure to ask about the memory residents' stages. That's been the main issue from the beginning. Unfortunately, there are no early-stage Alzheimer's residents, and memory care activities are lacking unless someone takes them to the assisted living area. It's tough for my mom to fit in, but if you have an early memory care resident, you'll need to stay on top of things. Despite imperfections, I'd still recommend them to others.

"Great Care, Quick Responses, But Needs More Bathroom Trips"
What I liked most about The Waterford is that they have a director just for the memory care section. She gave me her cell phone number, so I can text her anytime. She always responds quickly and looks into any problems right away. She told me to let her know if I have any concerns. She is really great. I think my loved one is getting good care. My only issue is that I don’t think they’re taking her to the bathroom enough.

"Friendly, Clean Assisted Living with Lovely Outdoor Space"
We visited the facility while thinking about moving my mom closer to us. The location is great for North Arlington residents. The sales staff were knowledgeable and super helpful. The head nurse evaluated my mom objectively and they even chatted about face creams and skincare routines. The place was clean, modest, and quiet, with a lovely outdoor area. Although we didn't move my mom in, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

"Great for Independent Living, Lacks Support for Higher Needs"
If your loved one is pretty independent and doesn’t need much help, this place is great. But if they need more care, the community isn’t set up to handle that. The staff’s communication with the family has been just okay it was awesome to work with! However, the Executive Director never returned any of our calls during the stay. No one from the staff checked on my loved one after they went to the hospital because of a fall while in the community.

"Great staff and easy to reach location"
I’ve only heard good things about this place and the staff. I’m almost at the point where I need to find an assisted living community for an older relative, and I’m definitely choosing The Waterford on Cooper. The staff is great, and it’s easy to get to, unlike most places in town.
