"Positive Independent Living at The Wellington"
Our parent needs extra care, so we're waiting for assisted living. The independent living here has been positive. Based on our experience so far, we'd recommend The Wellington at Conroe community to others.

"Friendly Staff and Welcoming Community"
The staff here are nice and always ready to help. Since the place is older, sometimes things need fixing (like the dryer or shower head). The maintenance guy does his best, but he has to work on both the Assisted Living and Independent Living sides. The other residents are friendly, and we’ve met some really interesting people with amazing stories. There are social activities almost every day if you want to join in. We’ve enjoyed them and take part as much as we can. We love having a washer and dryer in our apartment and a full kitchen for baking treats! This place is smaller, and we like the cozy community feel instead of a big, institutional vibe.

"Mixed Experience at The Wellington"
My family member lived at The Wellington at Conroe, and our experience was average. The Director,,ortunately, she couldn't address all the other issues. I wouldn't suggest this facility to loved ones.

"Aging facility with friendly staff; small rooms and odor issue."
This place is kinda old, but the people who work here are really nice. The rooms are not that big, and there's this smell that doesn't feel right for our family member.

"Long Hallways Make Assisted Living Harder to Navigate"
I only checked out the independent living area. It was alright, but we preferred the Carriage Inn. From what I saw of the assisted living section, the hallways seemed too long, making it harder for residents who need more care to get around.

"Good Experience with Strake Place Assisted Living Facilities"
The folks we met at Strake Place were really nice. The cost was pretty good, too. When we checked, it seemed like they didn't have enough staff for assisted living. I do appreciate that they have both independent and assisted living options, so you can move your family member if necessary.

"Mixed experience at The Wellington; lacked desired appeal."
We visited The Wellington at Conroe. It was nice, staff friendly. Apartments pretty good but bi-level. Didn't try food. Outside areas not as nice. Lacked appeal.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The lady who showed us around was friendly, but the staff seemed tired. When we arrived, the greeting at the door wasn’t great. I believe a nurse spoke to us first, and she was quite abrupt.

"Nice facility, but we chose a bigger place instead."
We visited The Wellington and thought it was nice. We didn’t pick it because it’s smaller with fewer residents. We wanted a bigger place.

"A Family Perspective"
The workers who fix things could improve, but most are nice. My family member likes living here.

"Great Place, But Not Perfect"
I don’t give 5 stars because nothing is perfect.
