"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Compassion"

The place looks super clean, but the boss is totally stressed because the big bosses don’t help. Most of the workers are just there for their paychecks. They don’t care about the people living here, especially at night when there aren’t enough staff. Folks who need help end up waiting forever because there aren’t enough employees. There are only a tiny handful of awesome staff members who want to quit because of the lazy coworkers. And hey, you should seriously consider putting a camera in your loved one’s room to see what’s really going on. They charge way too much for such little service, all about that money. The State got a heads-up about what’s happening at this place.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

I chose this community because of the price and its nearness to the hospital. According to my loved one, the meals were always punctual and tasty. However, the Activities Director organizes the same Bingo game every week. They hardly ever use the movie room, and the seating there isn't comfortable for older folks. I suggest adding music from their generation, showing classic films, setting up a soda shop, and offering more art activities, scavenger hunts, and brain games. It would be nice to have a piano for residents who play. Also, they need a working printer in their office. We never received printed copies of our payment receipts.

"Nurse unfriendly; no BP check; medication struggle."

It's tough with the medicine nurse; she won't check BP.

"“Mixed Bag: Pleasant Activities, Weird Experience”"

They don’t have enough staff. They promise good care, but it rarely happens. Neglect is common. They ignore residents’ requests and blame others. It feels like a weird movie. Pleasant activities, though.

"Poor communication; demanded mother's extraction."

The place seemed nice, but they never talked to us. We had to insist to get my mom out.

"Avoid This Assisted Living Facility: Neglect, Lies, and Incompetence"

This assisted living facility is a disaster. I'm currently reporting them to the state for investigation and filing a complaint. My 21-year-old daughter, instead of being treated with dignity, was put in a diaper on day one. When she asked for help, the nurse would promise a CNA but leave her waiting for 2-3 hours. She even slept in feces because the call light was ignored. Complaining only got her labeled as a "problem patient." And don't get me started on the food—14 days in, and they finally got it right. The social worker? A joke. I reported her too. Lies abound, but I've got the screenshots to prove it.

"“Disappointing Care at Assisted Living Facility”"

Don’t choose this place. The nurses are terrible. It takes them more than an hour to respond to patient requests. Imagine if someone needed urgent help during that time! Calls to supervisors go unanswered. They promised to fix things, but nothing changed. Methodist Hospital recommended this facility for my wife, but it’s been a disappointment. And with COVID-19, not being able to see my wife adds to my anxiety about her care.

"Great care, modern facility, and friendly staff for Dad"

My 93-year-old dad moved to VibraLife for skilled nursing care after he lost the use of his legs. VibraLife works with Memorial Hermann. The rehab area is excellent, and he quickly improved, using a walker soon after. He decided to move to the assisted living part. The facility is modern, open, clean, with high ceilings, and great for indoor walks during bad weather. The rooms are spacious, with kitchenettes and large private bathrooms. He enjoys the food and says the staff quickly fixes any minor issues. VibraLife provides transportation for medical appointments, offers trips to restaurants and shopping, and has entertainers for special events. Daily activities are available. He loves the care providers and our family has formed great relationships with them. Dad, a WWII veteran, enjoys meeting new people and has made friends. The assisted living side is about half full now. There are various care plans based on needs. Dad approves this review and is happy to share his experience with others.

"Needs Improvement"

The place is nice, but the staff needs improvement. Nurses ignore patients, medicine is late, and beds aren’t changed promptly. Food is okay. Hope I don’t need them again for rehab.
