"Great Care, Friendly Staff, but New Director Needs Improvement"
The caregivers and daily staff are amazing, definitely 5 out of 5. When we first moved our loved one in, the administrative staff was also 5 out of 5. The first director was great. But they got a new director, and we would give them a 3 out of 5. The location of the community is the best we’ve seen, and the staff is very friendly.

"A Mixed Experience at Waterview Assisted Living"
My husband stays at this lovely community. The decorations are really nice, and the staff treats him with care. However, they're often short-staffed. I chose Waterview because they promised one caregiver for every four residents. The room setup, opening into the common area, makes me feel more at ease. They encourage him to participate in daily activities, and the dining area is pleasant with good food. My only wish is that they'd do his laundry faster and avoid putting wet, soiled clothes in the basket.

"Flexible Dining and Great Atmosphere"
My sister just moved in, so I can’t say much about the activities yet. One thing I really liked was that you could eat anytime from 11 to 7. You weren’t stuck to a schedule. But, it might make it harder to socialize if everyone isn’t eating at the same time. The atmosphere feels really nice. I could see myself living there and being happy. The people and the decor both make it feel good. They have activities like shopping, bridge, and all kinds of things. There’s always something to do.

"Leaning Towards Lakestone for Lower Cost, But Long Drive"
I visited with my uncle and later came back with my parents after leaving Lakestone. We’re thinking about choosing Lakestone because it’s cheaper. When Dad needs assisted living, they would move out of Lakestone. But I noticed the 45-minute drive is a downside I didn’t see before.
