"Assisted Living Facility Struggles with Staffing and Medication Management"

Overall, we had some problems at the assisted living place. First off, they had issues with having enough staff. This made it hard for them to give out medicine on time. Sometimes, they even gave medicine that we didn't know about. I had to say no to some meds a bunch of times. I think they're trying to fix things, but our time there wasn't great.

"Search for Perfect Vibe: Assisted Living Review"

My family member could've been happy here. No issues, but another place felt just right.

"Mixed Experience with Wesley House Assisted Living"

The place looked nice. The person we were supposed to meet wasn't there when we arrived for our tour, but someone else showed us around instead. We were mostly looking into respite care, and they said the minimum stay is 14 days. Also, the apartments don't come with furniture, which isn't ideal for us because we'd have to bring all of Mom's furniture. We're really looking for a shorter stay, about a week or so.

"Needs Improvement: Wesley House Leadership Neglects Staff and Residents"

My Mom lives at Wesley House and I've noticed things operate differently throughout the day. The boss seems unaware of what's happening, and what's not happening, in the place. Workers are on personal phones, idly chatting away, ignoring buzzing pagers and not checking on residents. I was shocked at what I've witnessed. To me, staff turnover is too high and they can't seem to maintain the same team for long. Older people prefer consistency, not new faces constantly. Shape up, she ! We're not shelling out over a thousand bucks a month for inexperienced staff to care for our family! Treat your employees better and stay on top of things!

"Great care and friendly atmosphere at Wesley House in Lindale"

I moved my grandmother to Wesley House right after my wife and I moved to Mineola. Since she's from Dallas, she was a bit worried about moving at her age. But the staff at Wesley House has been amazing throughout the process. They've made it really easy for my grandmother and our family. The place is always clean and doesn’t have that usual "assisted living facility" smell. My grandmother has made friends with both the residents and the staff. She often tells me how much she loves the care she gets, and she even talks about how great the maintenance man is. If you’re looking for a great place for your loved one, Wesley House in Lindale is a fantastic choice! Oh, and the food is good too!

"Former Employee Speaks: Money Over Care at Assisted Living Facility"

Having worked here before, I can share details that aren't common knowledge. This facility seems to be all about money, prioritizing it over the well-being of its residents. They often take in people they are not truly equipped to handle, all to keep rooms occupied and the income flowing. The facility itself looks nice, but it's what happens behind its closed doors that you should really think about before deciding to put a family member in a place like this.

"Nightmare Assisted Living: Bugs, Bad Smells, and Neglect"

My mom stayed at Wesley House, but it was awful! Bugs were everywhere in her bathroom, and the staff never cleaned properly. The place smelled bad, with too many strong vanilla air fresheners. It made breathing hard. I wouldn't let my dog stay there! The person in charge seemed nice, but only cared about money. So, I moved my mom to a better place, closer to me, and cheaper. She loves it there. They have chefs who cook delicious food, unlike Wesley House, where the food was mostly starches and tasted terrible. Also, the pharmacy was far away, and they charged more for her medication. In my opinion, Wesley House should be shut down. Make sure to research before choosing a place for your loved ones.

"Price Hike and Poor Service at Assisted Living"

We were paying more for the same room size we got elsewhere, and they even billed us for home health care that Medicaid should have covered. After the facility was sold, my mother-in-law’s medicine costs skyrocketed from under $100 to a whopping $1,500! They insisted we had to purchase it through their pharmacy. There wasn’t a full-time nurse, and the meals weren’t tasty at all. The place was a 5-hour drive away, so visiting her more than twice a month was tough. The sale happened in June. It used to be called Legends. After it changed hands, they really knew how to rack up the charges.
