"Great Staff, Room for Improvement in Processes"
The people working there are really nice, but they could organize things better. Overall, we've had a good experience and would suggest Wheeler Terrace to other families.

"Wheeler Place: Not for Those Needing Full-Time Care"
The staff seemed to be doing their best to assist us during our time there. However, I felt like they were just saying things to please me, rather than being honest.

"Wheeler: A Loving Family, Not Just a Facility"
My mom has lived at Wheeler for seven years. She moved here right after my dad passed away. The staff made her feel welcome and helped her adjust to her new home. Over the years, I’ve seen the staff treat the residents like family. They know how to cheer them up when they’re sad, help them when they’re in pain, and anticipate their needs. If a resident isn’t eating or doesn’t like the meal, the staff will find something they like. Recently, a resident who sat with my mom at meals passed away. Before I could say anything, the staff had already arranged for my mom to have company at meals so she wouldn’t be alone. This is love. I don’t worry about my mom when I’m not around. I know she is in wonderful hands—hands that love her. Wheeler isn’t just an assisted living facility; it’s a family that loves everyone here.

Outside Looking In
"Feels like home with caring staff and great food"
Wheeler House really takes good care of its residents. I've been visiting for about 7 years, and even with changes over time, it's never been better than now. The food is great! They serve well-balanced meals, and the cook knows everyone and tries hard, though it's not easy, to make everyone happy. Many staff members have been there for a long time, and you can tell they truly care about the residents. The activity director keeps everyone busy, and she's super sweet. The facility feels so homey and wonderful.
