"A Community With a Stellar Reputation"
I knew about Winkler from leading Sunday School monthly before COVID-19. Everyone I met always praised the place. Winkler has a really good reputation.

"A Grateful Experience"
When my mom passed away five years ago, I worried about my dad. , who used to care for my mom at home and now runs Winkler Place, encouraged Dad to move there. After praying and seeking advice, he did. It felt like an answered prayer. But when left, costs went up, and services went down. Covid hit us all hard. While I'm grateful for safety measures, they were tough on my dad. The new administrator has helpful practices, like weekly gatherings to reminisce. Sometimes communication breaks down, and maintenance is slow. The prepackaged food service needs improvement. Still, the staff has truly saved my dad's life in many ways. I'm thankful for that!

"Not a Great Fit for Us"
This place didn't work well for us. The staff wasn't sufficient for our needs, especially for someone who might wander off. While they were friendly, it just wasn't a good fit.
