"Mixed Feelings About Facility's Staff and Communication Issues"
The staff is really good when they're around, and the meals are delicious. But communication needs improvement. Overall, based on our experience, I wouldn't suggest this place to others.

"Friendly staff and good food, but room for improvement"
The staff here are very friendly, courteous, and attentive. My mom says the food is good, and she eats well. She has made friends and enjoys visiting with them. However, the A/C repairs caused some discomfort, and although they promised a temporary rent reduction, it didn't happen. The housekeeping in her room could also be better.

"Caring staff, but needs improvement in hygiene help and activities"
The staff here have been really caring, but I wish my dad got more help with his hygiene. He’s not always willing, but with a bit more encouragement, he might start bathing, shaving, and brushing his teeth more often. He also needs more activities to keep him from getting bored. It would be great to have more regular updates from the administration to the families. Finally, I appreciate everything you do to make sure the care staff is paid well and to keep the place looking nice. Thanks for your hard work!

"Improving Assisted Living Facility with Dedicated Staff and Promising Changes"
The nurses are great, but the food isn't good. There have been some changes in the office lately, which caused some communication issues, but things seem to be getting better. The new boss is listening to what we residents have to say about the food and has promised to make it better. The staff is amazing; they're working super hard to make sure we're happy and safe, even with all the changes happening. I think once everything settles down, this place will be really awesome.

"Communication and Staff Turnover Issues at Round Rock Assisted Living"
My office has a client who lives at Round Rock. She has trouble seeing and doesn't use technology. Since 2021, it's been very hard for me to fax or email her updated notes. Many staff members come and go, and my client feels they can't be trusted. I often find out she doesn't get the notes, and every few months my emails bounce back. I hope they can fix these problems, but you should think about this if you're considering this place.

"Too big and old, lacking warm vibe"
The Rose of Round Rock was too big for my loved one. The building looked old and outdated. I only talked to the lady who gave the tour. She was nice and excited, like you’d expect in a sales job. But I didn’t feel that warm, cozy vibe I wanted.

"Lackluster Care Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Our family had a bad experience. They were not professional and didn't control the staff well. The caregivers tried hard, but there weren't enough staff for the residents. They didn't interact with our loved one as promised. Sometimes, when we visited, they didn't know where our loved one was. They only gave medication and a place to sleep. There was no regular schedule. They charged too much, so we wouldn't recommend them.

"Not Ideal for Memory Care: Facility Had Disappointing Atmosphere"
My relative didn't feel comfortable here. The place smelled bad. I saw bad reviews online, talked to the person showing us around about them, but felt she ignored my concerns. We wanted a place just for memory care, but they had both assisted living and memory care.

"Not for everyone"
Nice decor and well-maintained grounds. But the staff and attentiveness were underwhelming. Moved after almost a year, and the new, smaller assisted living facility has staff who really connect and care - day and night difference! Family member is much happier having left Wyoming Springs.

"A Great Place for My Mother with Excellent Care"
My mother has had a really good experience in this community. She’s doing very well here and they are taking great care of her. The staff is wonderful, always helpful and attentive. They offer nice activities, and she has tried a few. The only thing she’d like is for the food portions to be bigger. Overall, I feel she is getting excellent care and is safe here. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Top Choice for Memory Care - Wyoming Springs Assisted Living Review"
Rhonda [Removed] did an amazing job explaining the services at Wyoming Springs assisted living and the memory care facility. The rooms are more spacious than others I’ve seen before. They offer restaurant-style dining and other great amenities. This is my top choice for our mother’s memory care home. One family member isn’t fully convinced yet, but I am definitely on board. It’s a fantastic place!

"Friendly, comfortable community with supportive staff and spacious apartments"
I was really impressed with Wyoming Springs from the first visit until now, a month after my mother moved in. The place feels relaxed and cozy for both visitors and residents, and every staff member I've met has been friendly. Even though my mom is having a hard time adjusting, she likes the community. I've needed help from different staff members to help my mom settle in, and they've all been very helpful, going above and beyond what I asked. The one-bedroom apartments are a bit bigger than others I've seen, and my mom was able to use a lot of her own furniture to make it feel like home. I’m grateful for the support Wyoming Springs has given me during this tough time.

"A Comfortable, Caring Place!"
My mom recently moved to Wyoming Springs' assisted living area. We checked out two other communities (after I'd visited about eight alone), but we both really liked Wyoming Springs. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and lively lunchtime vibe impressed us. The rooms are nicely appointed, and there are plenty of events to join. As expected, the move and adjustments have been a bit tough for Mom. However, Wyoming Springs has been working with us to help her settle in. I'm hopeful she'll adapt because this is a great place for her.

"Pets allowed and a welcoming layout."
The biggest reason we chose this place was that they allow pets, which was very important and made a big difference. Another factor was the layout—it feels very non-institutional and doesn’t have long corridors.

"Nice place, overall"
Overall, I believe Wyoming Springs Assisted Living does a good job. The facility is really nice, and the staff here are friendly and caring. However, I do think the staff could improve their communication between shifts—I often have to repeat the same instructions or messages to different caregivers.

We didn’t stay long because the timing didn’t work out. But they were great! They were professional, thorough, and caring. They worked really hard with him during our short stay. They also tried to work with me and were very creative. It was just a timing issue.

"It's a nice place and very clean."
They're moving out. It feels a bit cramped for them. The place is nice and super clean. Most of the staff are friendly, but there are a couple of grumpy folks, especially among the waitstaff in the kitchen. They seem more focused on tasks than service. If you take advantage of all the services they offer, it's almost priceless. The place has plenty of room it feels more like a home than just an apartment. Communication between staff could be better. When a resident has an issue they can't handle, passing it on to the right person should improve. Getting residents involved in activities could also be better. Director Donna is great with people and the reason we chose this place. A social director to build community within the community would be helpful.

"Total Disappointment with Wyoming Springs' Negligent Care"
I wouldn't even dream of sending my dog to Wyoming Springs. It was a terrible experience. My mother-in-law didn't get the care she deserved. She kept falling and even when she used the emergency button for help, nobody showed up. I'm really upset with the way Wyoming Springs treated her. They wouldn't even give her the pain meds she needed. It was bad, plain and simple. They don't even deserve a zero rating.

"Great Community / Best in Area"
Last month, I visited four assisted living communities in North Austin, and this one stood out as the best. The aquarium and amenities were really enjoyable. If you're thinking of placing a loved one in North Austin, I highly recommend taking a tour here. 🌟

"**"Great staff, excellent amenities. Highly recommended!"**"
Wyoming Springs is one of the best senior living places in Central Texas. The dining rooms are beautiful, and they have lots of fancy extras like a top-notch movie theater and a beauty salon. They even bring in foot care specialists regularly. The rooms are big and private, with kitchenettes and safe bathrooms. The staff really cares about the residents, from the bosses to the maintenance crew. They take their caregiving jobs seriously!

"Great care, cozy atmosphere, but medication delivery needs improvement"
This place does a great job overall, and most of the staff are really caring and good at what they do. It feels very warm, friendly, and cozy here, almost like home, not like a hospital or office. One thing they could work on is how they handle giving out medication, as it hasn't always been reliable.

"Great potential, some missed opportunities"
This place is really nice and has most of the things I was hoping to find. The people who work here are friendly, which is important to me. They have a lot of activities planned, but when I visited, it seemed like not much was happening. The rooms they have are just right for what my aunt needs right now. Next time, I'll make sure to schedule my visit and bring a checklist because there were some important questions I forgot to ask.

"Great new facility with caring staff and engaging activities"
After my mother wandered off and was found hours later several miles from her home of 46 years, we needed a new place quickly. I looked at a few nearby facilities and chose Wyoming Springs because of the friendly staff, nice facility, and good location. They offer both Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff worked closely with me and my sister to make the tough move from home to the care facility easier. They’ve been very understanding, helpful, and attentive. It feels like a team effort, and I’ve been warmly welcomed. I get updates every time I visit 6-7 times a week and by phone when needed. This has been a tough time for our family, but we’re happy with our choice, the care provided, and the activities for the residents. Since the facility is new, there’s space available, and they’ve said activities will be more customized as more people move in, which will be great for everyone.

"Best Assisted Living in Round Rock"
I believe the care is excellent, and the staff is super friendly. The place is really nice—it's clean, all on one floor, and has a relaxed vibe. The staff knows my loved one well. While the food could be a bit better, the nutrition is great. The dietician is outstanding and up-to-date. My parents are very happy there. They even get their hair and nails done, and my father uses the exercise machine. The best thing is how clean and pleasant it is—unlike other places we've seen. Although we haven't used all their services, the laundry is always on time, and the room is spotless. I highly recommend it to others, especially because of the convenient location near Round Rock hospital—it's quiet and calm.

"Warm, peaceful, and caring memory care at Wyoming Springs"
The memory care section at Wyoming Springs is quite different from the assisted living side. It’s quiet, calm, and has a very relaxed vibe. It feels like staying at a fancy hotel. The staff are down-to-earth and amazing they care for our mom as if she were their own. They are very well-trained and have lots of experience with memory care residents. My mom has been thriving here, and my dad and I feel totally comfortable knowing she’s in good hands. The community is warm, wonderful, peaceful, and beautiful. Even though it’s still new, I would recommend it to anyone.

"Some Adjustments Needed"
My mother-in-law lives there. I think the care is okay, but she's had some issues. They didn't get her medications on time, so she went without them for a few days. It's not the end of the world, but it shouldn't happen. The place is new, so they still need to fix some problems in their system. The activities are good. There are plenty for my mother-in-law. They go to the grocery store and other places. They have moving, bingo, and happy hour. Since she's not very active, it works well for her.

"Charming place with daily activities like napkin folding; hard to find."
