"The Auberge at North Ogden Falls Short"
My dad lived at The Auberge at North Ogden. He got really weak and couldn’t feed himself. They made him eat in the Memory Care place, but he didn’t like it because he couldn’t talk to anyone there. I went with him once to help him eat, but the staff seemed rude and ignored his requests. When I wanted to take him to the dining room to be with his friends, they said no. Later, the office staff didn’t keep me updated on his health. He fell a lot, and they were slow to help. The dinners were yucky and not healthy, but the lunches were okay. Breakfast had weird eggs. I wouldn’t recommend The Auberge at North Ogden to others.

"Care Neglected at The Auberge at North Ogden, Mother Passes Away."
On a certain date, a nurse practitioner informed me that my mother, a resident at The Auberge at North Ogden, had a serious bed sore. She disclosed that my mom was being sent to a nursing facility known for wound treatment due to this sore. Distressingly, neither my mother nor anyone from The Auberge had informed me about this before. The nurse practitioner shared that she was only made aware of the sore on that same day, which she believed to be in a critical stage 2, likely stage 3. She mentioned that my mom's wound treatment started on the same day. After moving to the nursing facility, they assessed it as a Stage 3 bed sore. When I spoke to my mom about her situation, she said that the staff were monitoring her, even taking pictures, but no wound treatment was given until that specific date. My mother passed away on another later date.

"Decent Facility, Lackluster Memory Care"
My husband was in the memory care unit for a little bit. The bathroom he shared wasn't cleaned well enough which is not good. They also didn't help him with his personal stuff. When I asked them about it, they just pointed fingers somewhere else. The food was okay and the shared spaces looked clean enough. But on the weekends, there's no nurse around, they're only one call away though.

"A Safe Haven with Friendly Faces"

"Comfortable and Clean Facility with Friendly People!"
My mom has managed to find a few pals here, which is great because, at our house, she didn't really have anyone to mingle with. I'm truly glad that the facility is always tidy; I haven't noticed anything out of place. She's nestled in a safe spot with awesome new buddies and a pleasant staff.

"Not Enough Space for Alzheimer's Patients"
My mom stayed at the assisted living facility for only 5 days. They kept the Alzheimer's patients in a narrow hallway, which didn't give them enough space to move around. My mom always stayed in her room, and they restricted them to the 2nd floor.

"Sudden Eviction at Emeritus Estates Displeases Us"
Emeritus Estates suddenly booted us out with no heads up. My relative had a fall and ended up in the emergency room, it was there we discovered she had a bladder infection. They're claiming they can't look after her anymore. They didn't even have the courage to inform us directly. Instead, they asked the hospital's social workers to deliver the news. They had accepted her in without even hinting that they'd just turn her out. I'm not pleased with this place at all.

"Nice place but alarm system issues caused long wait"
The people at the facility were really nice and helpful when I visited. They showed us around and made sure we were comfortable. My mom has only been there a little while, but so far, it's been okay. However, she recently told me that their alarm system, which is used to call for help, wasn’t working. She had to wait for an hour in dirty linens before someone came to help, which was very upsetting.

"Caring and friendly staff"
Overall, I believe Emeritus Estates is doing a great job! The community looks nice and is well-maintained. The staff are friendly, caring, and professional. My only concern is that they seem overworked; hiring a few more people could help.

"Mixed Opinions on Emeritus Estates Memory Unit"
Emeritus Estates looks really nice. But, the memory unit didn’t impress us much. The rooms where two people share are big, but they can get untidy. The rooms with walls between them are the better choice among the shared ones.
