We visited this place for my dad's care. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The meals looked good, and they have activities. I recommend other families check this place out to see if it's right for them.

"Disappointed with Mountain Ridge’s Care and Activities"
Mountain Ridge isn’t doing too good. They didn’t tell us the truth. They said there would be plenty of fun stuff to do. But all they do is help him get ready and eat, then he just watches TV all day long. I thought we’d get a lot more from this place.

There seemed to be a lot of misunderstandings the second time my family member stayed there, especially between the CNAs and the nursing staff. It would be helpful if they could write down the instructions given so that all shifts know what to do.

The Mountain Ridge facility and the people there are really nice. Sometimes they forget a few things we've asked for, which we're paying for, but these are small things. Generally, they have been very good.

We decided to take our family member out of the care center because we didn’t stay there too long. It seemed like they were getting too much medicine. When I went to see them once, I saw a hurt that nobody told me about. It just wasn’t the right fit for us. We didn’t make a big fuss; we simply chose to leave.

We stayed for a short time, just a few weeks. The care was excellent, and everything was clean. The staff was friendly, and we had no problems with the food or anything else. They did a great job!

"Inadequate Care and Grave Negligence at Mountain Ridge"
Absolute disgrace. I'd rate this less than a star if it was an option. My mother endured awful treatment at Mountain Ridge, suffering from two unnecessary hospitalizations due to medication mix-ups. Living oceans apart, I flew down to personally investigate. I wound up residing within the housing for over a month, witnessing first-hand the shocking and illegal negligence. Staff members vanished at night, leaving residents without care. There was even an instance when a resident fell and I had to summon an ambulance since the committed caretaker had gone out! And guess what? She still holds her job! Another horrific event occurred when a new male resident harmed a longtime female resident leading to serious consequences. Yet again, this disaster unraveled during the night with no one to assist. Needless to say, I promptly moved my mother to a more fitting environment. The sheer neglect I've observed is downright criminal, especially as it preys on those unable to voice their concerns or seek help. Despite appearances, this place is hazardous and not something I'd recommend. Don't gamble with your loved ones' lives.

"Great care and helpful service from A Place For Mom"
My 91-year-old dad stayed at Mountain Ridge for 10 days while I was away. I found Mountain Ridge thanks to a really nice lady from A Place For Mom. She was super helpful and made everything easier for me. My dad seemed to like it there, and I felt relieved knowing he was well cared for. I’d suggest using A Place For Mom if you need help finding a place.
