"Poor Care and Negligence at Top Rated Assisted Living Facility"
I was really let down by the services offered at this well-reviewed assisted living facility. You pay lots of money expecting your family member to be treated with care and dignity, but no one even bothered to comb their hair or see that they were wearing their shoes properly. I constantly had to clean their room and do their laundry because it was neglected. I was always offering my help if there were issues, day or night. Regarding activities, they just threw a coloring book and crayons at them in front of the television and the staff was always on their phones in the corner - ignoring their responsibilities. Things of his kept disappearing and other stuff got damaged due to sheer negligence. When he had an incident, they even tried to kick him out when they should be ensuring his safety. Don't be deceived by their lies. When I raised these concerns to them while dealing with the grief of losing my dad, all I got was a 'we aren't perfect'. We tried to donate his clothes after clearing out his room and just after an hour, they were already missing. They claimed they had been donated. In the wake of all these experiences, only one person offered their sympathy over our heavy loss. My father deserved so much more.

"Missing Items and Peaceful Care"
Someone I know stayed at Summit Memory Care. They were on the regular senior side before moving to memory care. Overall, it's okay. Dealing with dementia or Alzheimer's brain fog is tough, but they handle it decently. However, we've had issues with missing items, wrong clothing, and bedding. When we talked to the staff, they blamed the patients. We're now buying clothes and bedding for the second time, but things keep disappearing without any answers. It's puzzling how belongings vanish. Despite these challenges, my relative seems at peace. I appreciate the full care they receive, and there's always someone there when needed.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
Our family visited in person, but the place felt dark and unwelcoming. .

"Overall positive experience."
The staff was friendly, but sometimes they seemed short-staffed. We liked the place, but our loved one had to go to the hospital after a week. The activities were impressive, and the apartments were spacious. We'd consider moving there. Our only suggestion is to be more selective about resident care.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living During Covid"
When Covid started, it seemed like the place wasn’t ready. It felt like the elderly were just left alone in their rooms. The new boss is doing a good job, but the nurses aren’t my favorite. I’m pretty upset about how things were handled. The room itself was pretty nice though. It should’ve been a nicer time than what we got. I don’t believe they meant to hurt our family member. But, nobody was getting to move around much; they stayed in their rooms. The team didn’t tell me when our family member stopped eating or walking. If it weren’t for the virus, this place would be really nice. There were some good parts, but talking to the nurse was really hard, especially when it was important.

"Convenient and New with Nice Staff and Good Food"
We picked Summit Senior Living because it was convenient and had good ratings online. It was an emergency, and we had to move quickly, so the staff's help was really appreciated. She says the food is mostly good. The best part of this community is that it's a new facility and the staff is very nice. Overall, I would recommend it.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Our experience was good overall. Some staff were amazing, while others weren’t. The place is beautiful and well-maintained, but they faced staffing challenges. We picked this community because my mother liked the available apartment.

"Friendly Staff and Spacious Apartments"
This place is really nice. I met Nurse, who explained everything. The staff was super helpful and knew a lot during the tour. The apartment was spacious, although the bedroom closet was a bit small. Luckily, there’s a second closet.

"Summit Senior Living: Compassionate Care for Our Parents"
Our family was so happy to find Summit Senior Living for our parents. They had lived in two other senior living places but now needed more care. From the moment we moved Mom and Dad into Summit, we felt sure they would get the care they needed. Summit always included us in their care plans. They told us if there were any problems, any time day or night. This gave us, their family, a lot of peace. From the first day to the last, Mom and Dad loved it there. Everyone on staff, no matter what they did, cared for our parents with kindness, patience, and respect. We will always love and be thankful to those at Summit who cared for our parents.

"Affordable and welcoming assisted living facility with friendly staff and residents"
This place was really nice to visit. The rooms we saw seemed about the same size as in other places we've seen. The staff was super friendly, as were the residents we met. But this community's prices were a bit higher than some others we've checked out.
