"Mixed Experience with Care Levels and Staffing Issues"
The facility was nearby. They quickly changed care levels. But, I didn't notice more daily checks. When I asked questions, the nurse and Administrator were hard to deal with. I visited almost every day and got more frustrated over time. Most CNAs were excellent, as were the wait staff and chef. However, I observed mistakes with medications and delays in administering them.

"Feels like home, wonderful staff"
My wife and I moved my mother to the Abbington. From the moment she walked through the lobby doors until now, almost two years later, she loves it. She really feels at home here. The management, staff, and everyone involved make her feel welcome every single day. I highly recommend this assisted living community to anyone.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom used to live here, but I had to take her out. The staff kept insisting she needed memory care, which wasn't true. Most of them didn't understand or show empathy to the residents. Some staff, like the activities director, were good. However, the food was terrible during my mom's stay. There's room for improvement in memory care with better-trained staff.

"Insufficient Training and Poor Food at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom used to live here, but I had to move her out. The staff kept insisting that she needed to be in the memory care section, but that simply wasn't true. I felt that the majority of them lacked understanding and empathy towards the residents. However, there were a few exceptions, like the activities director - she was amazing. The food was poor, every dish was unappetizing. There's a need for improvement, particularly the memory care staff need better training to better manage such residents.

"Tour for mom's care"
We toured this community while looking for care for my mom. The staff was very caring and friendly. The community was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The menu offered a good variety of meals, and there were lots of fun activities for the residents who could join. I would recommend that families visit this community for their loved one's care.

"Great Place for Dad: Caring Staff, Tasty Breakfast, Beautiful Facility"
This place called Abbington Senior Community has been really great! I like how all the people who work there, even the one who fixes stuff and the boss, are nice and really care about all the people who live there. They take time to know everyone and what they need. They seem to like their job and making friends with the people they take care of. My dad has only been there a little while, but he already likes it and has made some friends. The food for breakfast is good, but lunch and dinner could be better. The place is clean, safe, and looks really nice. I think it's a really good place for people to live!

"Great new place, feels like a hotel!"
This is a beautiful building. It’s brand new and feels like a Marriott hotel. I was treated very nicely during my tour.
