"Friendly Assisted Living with Convenient Location and Affordability"

We liked the Meadows because everyone there is friendly. The staff and residents made us feel welcome. We picked it for my mother-in-law because it's close to town, the staff is nice, and it's affordable.

"Great staff, clean units, and affordable assisted living"

Overall, it's great. They offer one special at lunch and dinner with an alternate menu that includes salads, sandwiches, fish, chicken baskets with chips, tots, or regular fries, sometimes sweet potato fries, or breakfast items. We haven't gone down to breakfast because we're not morning people. The staff is friendly and helpful. Trash is picked up regularly, and units are cleaned weekly. Towels and sheets are laundered, bathrooms are cleaned, and floors are vacuumed. If I leave anything in the sink, they wash it clean the counters, and wipe down the fridge. We're in assisted living because my husband has dementia and Parkinson's. He can take care of his own needs, but when he needs help, it is prompt and effective. We get a daily schedule of activities for the next day in the evening or the next morning, with a game or puzzle on the back. Overall, this is a comfortable place and the best price for our needs.

"Residents Enjoy Social Atmosphere at The Meadows at Escalante"

I enjoy living at The Meadows at Escalante. The food could be better. We have new residents and more social activities, even on Sundays.

"Decent Facility, Needs Better Organization and Food Options"

Overall, this place is pretty decent. Sometimes, it feels like things aren’t super organized here. Like, you’ll be told someone will come back soon, but then they don’t show up again. If we keep talking to the staff, they communicate well with us. Everyone gets three meals each day. But my family member isn’t happy because there’s no fresh fruit for breakfast. Also, the food often tastes too salty.

"Constant Staff Changes, No Problem Resolution Achievable"

Staff keeps changing a lot. I'm unable to solve any issues.

"Friendly staff but too large, concerned about navigation issues."

We had a wonderful tour at The Wentworth. It's a nice place, and everyone was friendly. However, it felt too big, and I worried my sister might get lost.

"Pretty Good, But Needs Less Isolation"

It's a pretty good place overall. There are a few things that might need fixing. I know the lockdown is tough on everyone. But it seems like it's a bit too hard, with residents stuck in their rooms for weeks. I think the staff are pretty good. They're friendly and do what they can, even though they're short-handed. I'm not sure they have a lot of interaction with the patients. Because of Covid, my visits have only been to my loved one's room, so I haven't seen much of the rest of the place.

"Not as impressed as other places."

Our family visited in person, and the tour was okay. However, we weren't as impressed with this community compared to others we saw.

"Communication Struggles and Care Issues in Assisted Living"

Our family member hasn't complained about the food, so we think it's okay. But recently, it's been hard to talk to the staff. It feels like they're fixing problems more than helping. Our family member isn't getting the care they need.

"Knows Everyone at the Assisted Living Community"

My uncle is thriving since he moved there. He's really happy and knows everyone. He enjoys the activities, like movie nights. The staff is friendly, and the community is well-maintained.

"Meadows Assisted Living: Friendly Staff, Caring Environment, Worthwhile Stay"

My mom just moved into Meadows and everything seems just like they said. There are lots of staff who are nice and helpful, and they seem to really care about the people living here.

"Great care for mom!"

My mom's stay at The Meadows is going well. This place is just what I hoped for her. It's pretty clean, and the staff takes good care of her. They have lots of activities and fun things to do. One thing I wish they had more of is quiet spots for people to talk and get to know each other. Overall, I think this is a great place.

"Still adjusting..."

My mom's doing better at The Meadows, a very nice place with bright, sunny vibes. However, they don't always follow through on what they promise before move-in. The management blamed miscommunication for broken promises. When we moved her in, Mom and my sister had to clean the whole apartment—apparently, they thought she wasn't moving in for a week. The cabinets still need fixing, which is disappointing. They eventually introduced her to others, but it took about three weeks. Families should consider residents' activity levels. Mom's mobile, but most others use wheelchairs or walkers.

"Impressed with Caring Staff and Excellent Services at Meadows"

I was really impressed with the Meadows when I first visited to find a place for my parents. They decided to stay in California at that time. After my father passed away two years later, I decided to move my mother to Utah. I called the Meadows, and I was amazed they remembered me and even remembered my parents had a dog. My mom was so impressed with the Meadows that she asked if she could afford it. The services are much better than her old place. It is very clean, and the staff goes out of their way to help.

"Nice but too big; no follow-up for my Mom"

This place is pretty nice and really big, but they didn't check up on my Mom like they promised.

"Good Staff, Distant Hallways, Not Enough Care"

My mom stayed here for a bit until we realized she needed more help. The care level wasn't right for her, and her room felt far from the hallways. It's a nice place, though. The staff were really nice and looked after her well.
