"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Care Standards"
We weren't happy with everything. My friend couldn't walk and needed more help. They said she could come, but every time someone helped her, they charged us. It got expensive. Sometimes, it took 2 hours for someone to help her after she asked. I had to call at 2 AM because no one came. The care wasn't worth what we paid. Some aids were good, but the ones at night weren't. Daytime aids were better. I'd tell others: If your loved one can move around, go there. If they need extra help, don't.

"“Clean, Friendly Assisted Living with Activities”"
I visited Brookdale to find a place for my grandmother in the VA area. The facility was clean, staff friendly, and had lots of activities. My grandmother moved in and loves it there! Highly recommended.
