"Assisted living not ideal for dependent family; friendly nurses."
My brother says he doesn't get enough help. He feels there's no one around when he needs assistance. When I visited, I had to clean his room myself. The nurses are nice. If your family member can't do everything independently, including managing finances, this might not be the best place for them. If I had known this beforehand, I probably wouldn't have chosen it for him.

"Friendly staff and clean community"
The staff was friendly, and the community was great. I can't say much because my loved one wasn't there long, but the place was clean and neat.

"Friendly staff, happy residents, but high cost"
This place is really nice. We met Holly, who is super friendly and easy to talk to. She spent a lot of time with us and gave us great information. My husband and I felt very welcome by her and the staff. Everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The residents looked happy and well taken care of. This was our first time touring assisted living facilities, and we were a bit surprised by the monthly cost.

"Rushed Tour, Money Talks: Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living"
The visit went fast. Saw most of the place, liked activity rooms. But, last tour of the day, so it was more about money and spaces than caring for people.

"Furnishing Challenges"
They were pretty good overall. The only downside was having to furnish everything—sheets, towels, and do laundry. The facility seemed clean, but I'm not sure how many people were in the unit. It ranked third on our list due to the linen

"Great Assisted Living Experience"
It's great! The Alzheimer's care unit, 'Our Neighbors,' has two sections: Azalea and Magnolia. The place is bright, and they take excellent care of the residents. My mom adjusted quickly, and it's much better than her previous home. They read to them daily, play trivia, and encourage conversation. The difference is like night and day. They even do fun activities like music and crafts. The staff is friendly, and there's a full-time doctor available. Overall, it's really nice.

"Assisted Living Felt Like a Nursing Home"
This place felt more like a nursing home than an assisted living facility. My mom knows she might need that kind of care eventually. She worked as a nurse in a nursing home for 30 years, so she's not against the idea, but she'd rather not go there unless she really needs to.
