"Terrible Care and Mismanagement at First Colonial Inn"
Look up First Colonial Inn's violations on the internet. My dad lived there and the way they treated him was terrible. They got his diagnosis wrong and gave him problems every day when it was time for his medicines. They never seem to have enough workers around, and it's puzzling how they're still in business. Do not spend your cash on this place. Keep searching. First Colonial is more than dreadful.

"Undelivered Care and Constant Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
They aren't providing the guaranteed care. I'm moving my dad out ASAP to avoid burning more cash. There's no nursing assistance, his meds are frequently forgotten, they lose track of patients and skip dosages, facilities are poorly maintained, and the nurses have terrible attitudes. Support for the patient online portal is non-existent, their computers are perpetually out-of-order and so forth. Don't let them deceive you.

"Great staff, common areas need updates"
The staff here is great. I think the common areas could use some updates. For example, the outside breezeway needs to be cleaned with a pressure washer. The paint colors and decorations in the hallways are old-fashioned.

"First Colonial Inn"
My mom moved to First Colonial in July 2021. I'm impressed with the staff and community. They're very helpful and go out of their way to care for her. Moving her from Alexandria was hard after 20 years at home, but everyone at First Colonial made her feel welcome. She's really happy there. I definitely suggest First Colonial Inn!

"High Costs and Nursing Home Feel: First Colonial Inn Review"
We visited First Colonial Inn, and it felt too much like a nursing home, which we didn't prefer. They seemed pricey and charged for every little thing.
