"Rude welcome and no help on botched assisted living tour"
We got to the place for our visit and the woman who met us messes up. She told us someone messed up our plans for the tour. Didn't bother to fix it or make a new plan for another one. She told us that if "we" wanted, we could easily check the place out by ourselves. She pointed down a couple of corridors and said to go ahead. So we half-heartedly took a quick look around by ourselves and then we left. We definitely won't be going back there.

"Cozy Community for Seniors: Mixed Feelings but Generally Positive Experience"
My aunt left a bigger place for this smaller community. It seemed like a better match. She’s doing alright, better than before. She mostly keeps to herself, but the staff is helping her join in activities. The food's good and balanced. They keep the place tidy.

"Friendly and Clean Assisted Living"
When I visited Greenfield of Fredericksburg, it was a long time ago, but I recall that the place was clean and well taken care of. The staff I spoke to were very friendly.

"Outstanding Care and Warmth at Greenfield Assisted Living Facility"
I checked out three places in the Fredericksburg area, and they were all nice. But Greenfield felt more like a family because it's one level and has fewer residents. The staff is amazing and really cares about each person. Yes, it’s pricey, but my parents deserve the best. They've been through tough times as survivors of the Great Depression and war veterans, so they’ve earned it. My parents are very happy there. They’re treated with respect and dignity by everyone. You can’t put a price on that. From the very beginning, the staff has been fantastic. They keep me updated and I love the family events they host. The food is good, and they always go the extra mile for the residents. The on-site beauty shop keeps my mom looking great. There are tons of activities to choose from. I could go on and on because there are so many great things to say.

Feels lacking considering what we’re paying.

"Pleasant Atmosphere with Spacious Common Area; Memory Care Not Seen"
The facility is nice with a large common area. I didn't find a separate memory care area. The staff appears friendly, and a family member I talked to in the parking lot gave positive feedback.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
Mom thought the residents were too old, but the place was nice. They answered our questions. Mom ate there and wanted to move in, but changed her mind after 3 days. The crowd seemed older and less outgoing. Maybe we'll reconsider if things don't work out. Staff was friendly, but Mom complained about cold food. Overall, it was okay.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises"
They were my top pick, but they said they'd do certain things like the evaluation form, but they didn't. They kept delaying and dealing with the rehab instead.
