"Great Retirement Feel with Helpful Staff and Spacious Apartments"
My dad liked the apartment he lived in. It was big, and there were lots of things to do if you wanted. He was happy that whenever he called for help, someone came right away. The place didn’t feel like an assisted living facility; it felt more like a retirement community. There was a nice pavilion in the middle of the place. The staff seemed to be in good spirits.

"Perfect Place for Dad: Spacious, Friendly, and Lots to Do"
My dad really liked his apartment here. It was roomy and had lots of activities if you wanted to join in. He appreciated that help was always quick to arrive whenever he needed it. The place didn’t feel like a typical assisted living facility but more like a retirement community. There was a nice pavilion in the middle of the complex. The staff had good attitudes and were pleasant.

"Friendly Staff, Beautiful Commons, Assisted Living with Kitchenettes"
This place has three prices for rooms, all including full care. The assisted living rooms have kitchenettes. The staff was super nice and ready to help. The common areas and dining rooms are gorgeous.

"Oakmont staff treated Mom like family, quick admission process."
I'm so glad I found Oakmont at Gordon Park for my Mom. They went above and beyond to admit her quickly when we were caught off guard by her early hospital discharge. I called at 2:30, toured the place a little after 3:00, and Mom was admitted and settled in by 7:30—amazing! Mom was put on hospice within a week, so I can't comment on activities, but I often heard staff encouraging residents to join in. Every staff member showed genuine care for Mom, treating her like family. They took time to talk to her, check on her, and make sure she was comfortable. She received more hugs, compliments, and real empathy than I could have imagined. We all felt like family. The only downside was that, like many places, there didn't seem to be enough staff. As a new facility, I think they have room to improve in this area. It seems the CNAs are stretched thin with tasks that might be done by non-skilled staff, like delivering water, meals, and doing laundry, but this might be a legal issue. Despite this, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oakmont or place my Dad there if needed.
