"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Facility"
Mostly good experiences with friendly staff. Occasional care miscommunications. Meals started well but now often lack variety. Daily activities available, though not always participated in. County assistance appreciated but still pricey with added medical costs. Generally satisfied, would suggest.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living with Spacious Layout"
The people at this place were really nice to my family member and me when we visited. They showed us around the whole place and told us all about what they have. The building layout was open with wide hallways for everyone who lives there. But, in the end, we decided it wasn't the right place for my mom.

"Considerable value, room for improvement in assisted living facilities."
This place offers great value for those who can join. The staff is nice, but some could improve how they treat others. The building's layout could be better for older folks. It would help to have buttons for doors in and out of the courtyard. Also, there should be spots to park rollators, both near rooms and in the dining area. Some people don't like the food—it tastes too much like what you'd get in an institution.

"Good Location, Considering Long-Term Needs"
There’s about a six-month wait for a one-bedroom. This is the first place I’ve checked out, so I don’t have anything to compare it to yet. I’ll give more thoughts after seeing some other spots. They don’t offer rides to doctor’s appointments, so it’d be best if it worked with the PACE program. It fits what I need right now, but I’m not sure about down the road without moving. The spot is great since it’s close to my home, the hospital, and places for dialysis. I’m giving it four stars because I hope this can be the one, but I need to shop around and think about future needs, like if I need help with more than two daily activities. I’ll probably have more detailed questions for Patti after talking with my sister and parents.

"Review of Willow Creek Assisted Living in Springfield, IL"
There's about a 6-month wait for a one-bedroom. This is the first place we've looked at, so we don't have anything to compare it to yet. I might update this review after we see a few other places. They don't provide transportation to doctor appointments, so it would be better if they worked with the PACE program. It meets our needs for now, but we might need to move later. The location is perfect because it's close to my house, the hospital, and dialysis centers. I'm giving it 4 stars because I really want it to be the right place, but we need to look around more and think about future needs. I'll probably have more specific questions for Patti after talking with my sister and parents.
