"Poor Communication and Staff Turnover at Sunrise Assisted Living"
I wouldn't suggest Sunrise at Hunter Mill. The staff changes a lot, communication is bad, and the food isn't good. They don't call back promptly.

"Unprepared Director and Long Wait at Sunrise of Hunter Mill"
We visited Sunrise of Hunter Mill while looking for the right place for a family member. The whole visit was odd. We had to wait quite a bit before anyone came to meet us. To top it all off, the Sales Director didn't even know how much stuff cost. Plus, they kept directing their conversation at me instead of my parents.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Facilities"
We picked Sunrise of Hunter Mill because it’s close to our home, super clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They’re like the friends you’d meet for happy hour. I’d totally recommend it to other families.

It felt more like a nursing home.' then create a headline (in 10 words or less and placed in double ) that summarizes the review .

"Pressure Felt During Unimpressive Tour at Sunrise Hunter Mill"
We didn't enjoy the tour at Sunrise Hunter Mill. Because of Covid, they couldn't let us see the exact room our family member would stay in. They tried hard to convince us, which made me feel heavily pushed. Plus, the place was bigger than we wanted for our family member.

"Costly Facility with Inconsistent Care and Unaccountable Management."
My dad used to live there but we had to move him because the costs kept going up every year. It's a pricey place. The food was sometimes good, other times it wasn't that great. On the bright side, most staff members are friendly and they try to keep the residents busy with daily activities. However, they often took too long to respond when my dad used his call button for help. It felt like they were always short of staff. The biggest problem we faced was how the management never admitted when they messed up with his care. Instead of investigating the situation, they only made excuses, claiming it wasn't their fault or that there wasn't an issue. I grew tired of this and moved him to a different place.

"Excellent Care and Friendly Atmosphere with Fun Activities"
[name removed] was really helpful and knew a lot—very nice. The staff was friendly and ready to help. The residents were active and enjoying the common areas. The big windows and wall ledges to assist with walking are great features of all Sunrise facilities. The menu looked tasty, and the quiche they gave me after the tour was amazing. They have many activities, like gardening and art projects.

"Top Choice for Excellent Healthcare despite Small Rooms"
This place is our top pick so far. They really understand what they're doing. The rooms are small, hardly any space in the closets. But the great healthcare and their encouragement make up for it.

"Safe and Caring Community"
My sister is still getting used to living here, but we're happy with her new home. We trust she's safe and well looked after. The staff is really nice and helpful. Every time I visit, she seems happy and well taken care of. They're also helping us help her adjust. It's a nice place, and we'd suggest it to others.

"Promises Not Met Due to Insufficient Staffing"
Moving my dad into this facility was a mistake. They talked up their ability to cater to his extensive needs, but failed to meet their promises. I spent a week to keep an eye on the situation. Don't get me wrong, the place was nice and the staff were warmhearted. However, you really need to understand the exact care required before making a move. They simply didn't deliver on what was previously agreed upon, mainly due to the lack of staff they had.

"My Visit To The Community"
This place costs a bit more than our chosen community. The rooms aren't as nice as the other one, but they do have a spacious and bright foyer. The staff we met were friendly, and the overall cleanliness was good.

"Okay Temporary Stay Waiting For Preferred Community"
This place seemed pretty good and the workers were friendly. My mom stayed there for a short time but didn't enjoy it. She was just killing time until she could join the community she wanted to, so she could be with my dad. Overall, though, it wasn't a bad place for a short stay.

"Caring Community with Limited Parking and Furniture Access"
They offer lots of activities and have a really caring community. It seems like the staff work here because they genuinely want to help. However, parking is a bit of a problem. A major downside is that moving furniture is hard because access is limited you have to go through the lobby or service area.

"Great place, but cost was too high"
This place was amazing! Sunrise has a special floor just for people with dementia. The only reason we moved her out because this place was really great! was because of the cost it was very pricey. My mom was better off here since she could walk around and talk to others, and she’s physically very healthy. It was an excellent place, but we just couldn’t afford it anymore, so we had to move her.

"Nice Place with Pets and Good Vibe, Pricey Turret Room"
I liked this place. I met with the director, and all Sunrises have a house dog and cat. It’s a nice setting in a good location. They had a few rooms available: the turret room is $208 a day, which is a bit pricey but has a nice space. Overall, it had a good feel to it.
