"Clean, Friendly, and Affordable Assisted Living Community"
I visited this place, and it was my second favorite for my family member. It's a small group, tidy, nice people, and costs less than other places nearby.

"Mixed feelings about understaffed assisted living facility"
This place is okay for short visits. When my family member stayed here, there weren't enough workers. The ones who were there had too much to do. They were nice and kind though, and they tried to lower the cost for me. It's a small place with not many people, which made it feel cozy. Checking in and out was easy and they were flexible. My family member liked the food. The cook was friendly and gave good help.

"Not a Great Fit for Residents"
The place is small, and the rooms are even smaller. The residents aren't very active, and it just didn't feel like the right fit. Plus, they spend more time talking about insurance than what the facility actually provides.

"Room Size and Shower Sharing Not Ideal; Staff Good"
The people who work here are nice, but the rooms are tiny. And you gotta share the showers with everyone in the hallway, which isn't cool. I don't think I could get used to that.

"Mixed Feelings on Elderly Care Facility"
My feelings are pretty mixed about this place. The people who worked there were really nice and helped out a lot. They seemed to care about the people living there, including how they were treated. When we first brought Mom here, we were told she'd be rooming with someone who kept the lights and TV on all night. Nobody had said anything about this before, and it was too late to find a different place right away. They did tell us they'd move her to another room in about ten days, which was good. And Mom was pretty cool about it all. But still, they should've clued us in about this when we first arrived. This place is really old and sort of cozy, but the inside could use some fixing up. There's this grand piano in the big public room. On our first day, someone was playing it, which made the place feel homey. But when we tried to talk on the phone, the piano was too loud to hear each other. They need a quieter spot for people to hang out, or maybe they should watch the noise level if it goes on for a long time. The scariest part was when Mom got really sick. They took her to the hospital, but they didn't tell me till the next afternoon. By then, she was too doped up to talk, and she'd had to get this breathing tube. She died the next night. If they'd have let me know sooner, I could've talked to her before she was gone.

"Quality Care for My Father"
This place was nice for my dad. The staff was really good and caring. The food seemed good, and they had activities for everyone. I'd recommend it to other families looking for good care.

"Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, but some issues with care"
At Sunrise of Leesburg, they do a great job of keeping residents active with many activities. The staff is very friendly, and the facility feels like home. However, they have been feeding him too much, and he has gained weight in just a month and a half. Also, he has incontinence and isn't changed regularly. These are the reasons I rated them a bit lower.

"Active Atmosphere but Some Concerns: Sunrise Of Leesburg Review"
At Sunrise Of Leesburg, they keep residents busy with activities. The staff is nice and the place feels cozy. However, there's been an issue with overfeeding, causing weight gain. Also, they haven't been attentive to changing incontinence regularly.

"Concerns that hopefully will change"
After 5 months, I have some concerns. There aren't enough male caregivers to help lift heavier residents like my husband. Usually, it takes two ladies to move him in or out of bed. I'm not sure if anyone really sits down and talks with him daily, but he has become more talkative since moving in and interacts with most of the caregivers. My husband says the food is good, but I worry about the calorie intake. They offer activities for most residents, but not much for men with limited interests or abilities. Hopefully, they'll make changes.

"Cozy Home Feel with Attentive Staff: Sunrise of Leesburg Review"
This place feels like a cozy home, not a big facility. It's older but well-maintained. The staff is super friendly and always there for my dad. They really care about him. He loves the food, which is a huge plus because he can eat by himself and enjoys it a lot. Overall, we're happy with Sunrise of Leesburg, but it's a bit pricey, so we might not stay long.

"Cozy Home with Attentive Staff, Slightly Pricey"
If you prefer a cozy, homey atmosphere over a big facility, Sunrise of Leesburg might be just right for you. While the building is older, they regularly spruce it up, so everything works well. The staff there are super friendly and always look out for my dad; you can tell they genuinely care about him. Plus, my dad is over the moon about the food! It’s a tad expensive, though, so we might not be able to stay long-term.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Outdated Assisted Living Facility Needs Better Amenities and Organization"
Even though Sunrise owns this place and they said they can accommodate my Mom, I'm not thrilled about it. The building is super old and everyone has to share a communal bathroom for bathing which I'm not comfortable with. The hallways are narrow and uneven, which is dangerous for Mom as she could easily fall. I’ve taken time to volunteer there often and I also have friends who have placed their parents in this facility. I truly wish they would remodel it. The staff seems to be always in the middle of some kind of confusion. Plus, they allow pets which is a negative for us. Mom isn’t a fan of pets. Ha!

"Concerns Over Sunrise-Owned Assisted Living Facility's Conditions"
Even though it's operated by Sunrise where they would accept my Mom, the building itself is extremely dated. The shared communal bathrooms for showers don't sit right with me. The hallways are narrow and uneven which could potentially lead to my Mom falling. I've volunteered there several times and some of my friends' parents are residents. It is my hope that they could update the facility. There always seems to be some confusion among the staff, and they also allow pets which my Mom isn't fond of. lol

"Top-Notch Assisted Living Facility"
This place is really nice and clean. The people who work here are professional and they have good things for the patients to use. The patients seem happy and taken care of. If it wasn't so far from my family, it would be a good place for my mom. But it costs more than I thought it would. This is my first time visiting, so I didn't know what to expect.
