"Care and Staffing Woes Plague Assisted Living Facility"
My mom and stepdad live there. Mom needs lots of help and is in a wheelchair. But the staff keeps changing, so no one answers when we need help fast. Mom needs her heart meds on time, but now they say we have to go downstairs to get them. If we can't, we have to wait till noon. We're losing nurses and helpers because the bosses aren't helping them. For what we pay, they need to take better care of us.

"Lovely community with plenty to do and great reputation."
I would suggest this community to anyone. It's a pretty place with lots of things to do and a really good reputation.

"Mixed opinions on care, recommend based on individual needs."
The place doesn't have enough workers, especially on weekends. If someone can manage themselves and walk around alone, it's okay for them. But if they require extra help in assisted living, I wouldn't suggest it. However, the memory care part seems to have better supervision and is doing fine, so that might be a better choice.

"Affordable, caring community with good food for elder care recommendation."
My loved one is doing well. We chose this community because of its great staff, reasonable cost, and good food. It's a nice place for an elderly person to live. I would recommend it to other families.

"Needs more staff for better personal attention"
The only thing missing that would make it better is more staff. There's a serious lack of staff in the dining area and on the floors for personal attention!

"More Dining Options and Activities Needed"
The dining menu needs better options and more activities are wanted. They offer different meals, but sometimes our family members say they aren't the tastiest. They can ask for more things, but sometimes when our loved ones want something extra, the dining staff forgets. They have activities like bingo and card games, but we wish they had more often and different choices.

"Disappointing Experience: Assisted Living Facility Review"
I wouldn't suggest this place for your loved one. The helpers and daily workers are nice, but the staff isn't. Don't trust everything the marketing team says because it's not true once your loved one is here. They don't handle complaints well, and we've had to make them bigger.

"Affordable and Convenient Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
We picked Harmony at Harbour View 'cause it's cheap and close. Rooms fit her fine. Staff mostly listen and help. Might suggest to others.

"Caring place with great staff and lots of activities."
My mom moved in during a tough time because of COVID, but the place has been great. She has a nice sunny apartment, maintenance is always available, and she loves the food. The rehab therapy is excellent, and the sales and marketing team, as well as the front desk, are wonderful. They have tons of activities to keep residents happy. Overall, my mom and I feel that this place truly cares.

"Not what we were expecting "
The property was not as advertised. It was dark in the dinner areas and felt quiet and cold. There were no people enjoying the games we were told about. The sales person who was speaking with us seemed only concerned with if we could pay rent. We didn’t like it very much at all. We encountered one person who lives there and asked them if they enjoyed it there? He said initially but now they wished they had never moved there. They said they cared about money above all. Needless to say searching for a place was quite exhausting. And I had wished we had more accurate reviews when we were searching online. That’s why i am taking the time to review all of the places we visited. So obviously we did not choose the Crossings at Harbor View. This place was last on our list.
