"Fee Increase Concerns at Understaffed Assisted Living Facility"
As of they're raising fees, which seems unfair because they're seriously understaffed. Since I've been involved with them since the staff has changed a lot and people keep leaving. How can they justify a fee increase when this is an ongoing problem? My mom has been in rehab for a few weeks after a fall, and even though she has a private caregiver during the day Monday to Friday, I worry about her at night and on weekends. The nursing staff is too short-handed, and I fear she won't get the attention she needs when she returns to the facility. Despite the staffing issues, everyone I've dealt with has been very nice.

"Peace of Mind and Responsive Staff"
The people who manage this place always listen and help us when we have questions or problems. We think they take good care of our loved one. The Crossings at Ironbridge has made us feel really calm about everything and we would tell other families to check it out if they need a place for their loved ones.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, it's okay, but there are some issues. The food and laundry service aren't good. I've asked many times to fix the door in my mom's room leading to the courtyard; my husband can barely open it. Whenever it rains, every room on my mom's side of the building gets water in it. They just use absorbing mats to deal with it. Also, there aren't enough staff members. Regarding the laundry, they've caused bleach stains on some items and shrunk quite a few others.

"Heartfelt Tour, Different Choice"
I liked this place. The tour was great, and they showed us everything. But our hearts led us to another facility.

"Good place, but lacking essential services for Mom"
The place is nice, but they didn't offer the care services or activities my mom needed.

"Nice place with fun activities and working on staffing issues"
This is a good place for your loved one. I would suggest it. Right now, they have some staffing problems, but they are trying to fix them. They offer fun activities like crafts, puzzles, art, learning hula dances, and special themed events.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The way they did laundry kept changing, which was okay. But half of my loved one's clothes disappeared even after we labeled them. The food wasn't very good, and they didn't plan meals well if you had specific needs. They had many activities, but my loved one didn't join. The management was good though. They listened and helped a lot, like when I wanted cameras in my loved one's room. They were open and made it happen. After checking out different places, I'm glad I picked them. The marketing director supported us from start to finish, answering all our questions. When we needed hospice care, they arranged everything. The recommended hospice service was excellent. I spoke to a chaplain weekly and the home office called weekly too. The hospice nurse was outstanding, like having family there.

"Positive feedback for assisted living: caring staff, good food, thoughtful amenities."
The staff here are really caring. The food is good. I like how the building is set up, and my mom's room has a window inside that looks out onto the courtyard. The staff are friendly and make it easy to use Facetime and drop things off. They have been wonderful. I work at a hospital, so if she still lived with me, I wouldn't be able to come home. I'm so glad she's there.

"Great Care and Smooth Transition to Harmony at Ironbridge"
My husband has been at Harmony. I'm really happy with the care he's getting. I couldn't give him the care he needed. We were in an assisted living facility in Florida, but my family is in Virginia. So, I searched online and had my daughter visit. She said there was nothing she didn't like about Harmony. I moved him from Florida, and my daughter and granddaughter drove all night to get us here. The staff was waiting for us, and everything went smoothly. He likes all his caregivers, but he has favorites. he makes sure his TV is on the sports channel, and they talk about the games. I would highly recommend Harmony at Ironbridge.

"Visiting Doctor Schedule a Plus!"
First time at a senior living facility. The memory care unit is on the second floor. When you walk into the room, there's a hallway with a closet on one side and a bathroom on the other. A positive point is that they have a visiting doctor on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

"Great staff, but senior turnover and call issues"
The staff here are mostly great, but I've noticed a lot of turnover in senior positions lately, which makes me wonder why. Issues do come up, but the staff always work hard to fix them. They are very friendly and genuinely caring. I would have given the facility a 4.5 rating if I could. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because some of my calls to key directors weren't returned promptly, if at all. This might have been an oversight, but it was still unsettling. Communication with lower-level staff, like nurses and caregivers, has been excellent. I also wish they didn't have a required entrance fee, as many other places don't. Overall, I'm happy with my choice of The Crossings at Ironbridge for my loved one.
