"Yama Services Review"
I visited Yama Services Adult Assisted Living, and they wanted to charge a lot of money each month. The place felt empty and made me sad. The house I saw didn't even have a table for eating. The people living there seemed stuck in bed and unable to move around. The rooms were like military barracks—bare and not cozy at all. We ended up choosing a different community that costs more than Yama, but it's worth it because they offer many activities. My sister, who isn't bedridden, lives there, and they have plenty of space and a nice dining area. In summary: Yama Services was a bit scary.

"**"Uncomfortable Tour Experience at Yama Services"**"
I had a really bad tour at Yama Services. As soon as we walked in, a resident fell and nobody noticed. Then, during our meeting, we sat in a room with an unconscious resident on hospice. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend them.

"Good care, clean environment, and attentive staff."
The care at this community is really good. I appreciate the attentive staff. We like how clean the community is and the nice environment. They could offer more activities for the residents, though. We would gladly recommend this community for a loved one’s care.

"A Good Place for Memory Care"
This looked like a well-maintained care home when I visited. The owner was great. This place seemed to be more for people with memory care needs, and my loved one didn't need that type of care. I would recommend checking it out to see if it would work for your loved one.

"Perfect Transition and Wonderful Care for Mum!!!"
The staff and the place are warm and welcoming. My mum moved to Yama easily because it feels like home. I’m so thankful to A Place For Mom for suggesting Yama. I can't find enough words to show how grateful and happy I am for the amazing care my mum gets.

"Yama Services is a Wonderful Place for Elder Care"
The home and staff at Yama Services are amazing. The place is beautiful, well-kept, and perfect for elder care. The grounds are lovely. The staff is fantastic. They give exceptional care to my mom. They are cheerful, friendly, and always upbeat. The residents are clean, well-fed, happy, and cared for both physically and spiritually. Deciding to stop caring for my mom was really hard, but the team at A Place For Mom and Yama Services has made me feel at ease and confident in my choice. Thank God for these caring people!

"Assisted Living: Mixed Feelings on Lovely Surroundings"
The yard is pretty with trees in the back. People are nice. They showed us around and explained everything. But my mother-in-law didn’t think it was the right place for her.

"Excellent Care and Support for Long-Term Needs"
My mother has now passed away, but they took great care of her. She was always clean and dressed in fresh clothes. She never had to wait for help to use the restroom. The meals looked and smelled delicious. They always kept me updated about her condition. They were easy to work with and helped with long-term care options. Thank you for your kindness!

"Lacking Professionalism and Resident Interaction in Clean Home"
I wasn't convinced that I was talking to a healthcare expert. Most of the folks were asleep during the day. The mealtime seemed to be delayed to late afternoon. I noticed that the people didn't have water near them or space to keep any. Even though the facility seemed clean and pretty, there wasn't anything engaging for residents. I didn't see any sort of communication between anyone.

"Friendly, accommodating care staff"
Yama Services Adult Assisted Living does an amazing job. The staff are super caring and professional. Sadly, it wasn’t the right fit for my loved one’s care needs, but they were very accommodating and tried everything to make it work. Even after he moved out, they called sometimes just to check on him. I would totally recommend them to anyone looking for care in the area!

"Poor Care and Safety Standards at Yama Assisted Living"
Our experience at Yama Assisted Living wasn't good. They said they could handle someone like our loved one, but they couldn't. Within a day, our loved one got hurt because they didn't use the right tools or methods. The bathrooms weren't made for wheelchairs or walkers, and she fell trying to use them. They say they provide three healthy meals every day, but apparently, they think pizza is a healthy meal for seniors. The building itself is clean and tidy, but we weren't impressed with how they cared for people or kept them safe.

"Poor Care and Safety at Yama Assisted Living Facility"
Our time with Yama Assisted Living was disappointing. They promised they could care for someone with the physical needs our family member had, but they fell short. They didn't use the right gear or strategies, and our family member got hurt within one day of moving in. The bathrooms didn't work for a wheelchair or walker, and she fell trying to get in. They said they give 3 balanced meals daily, but it seems they consider pizza to be a balanced meal for an older person. The building itself was clean and well-kept, but the care and security they provided was not up to par.

"Wonderful Care at Yama Services—Like a Real Home!"
You won't find a better place than this. I've worked in nursing homes, and my grandfather was in another facility that had more staff but less quality care. Since he came to Yama Services, he's cleaner, better fed, and, most importantly, happier. This place feels like a real home. It’s clean and doesn't smell like a nursing home. I felt at home right away with Ama and her husband. Visiting is a joy because I don’t have to worry about my grandfather. Every time I see him, he's happy and well-cared for by the staff. Thank you, Yama Services, for being kind, thoughtful, and respectful.
