"Disrespectful Facility Owner Lacks Compassion for Potential Residents"
I took my neighbor for a visit to this assisted living facility. The owner asked her if she had less stress, would she rather live at home. Obviously, she said yes, even though she can't. I witness her struggles everyday and know what she needs. The owner then told her, "In that case, you should stay home, not come here." He even began to give her financial advice. We were looking for a safe place for her until her daughter could take her in. If they don't want residents who are recovering and are of lower income, they shouldn't provide a monthly plan. They shouldn't pretend they know what's best for someone they hardly know. Later, her daughter visited and the owner suggested that she build an apartment onto her house for her mom to live in. He even said she should sell her mom's house to someone who could care for her. (What?!) He then implied that her daughter couldn't take care of her mom which made her break down. Obviously, this place cares more about money.

"Discriminatory Questions at Bromley Manor Assisted Living"
I rang up Bromley Manor for some information about their rates. The first thing they asked me was: "How tall are you and how much do you weigh." This guy was about 70 years old, and he probably asked me this to figure out if I met Bromley Manor's requirements. I'm not clear if he was asking because he wanted to go on a date or if he was curious to see if I'd fit in their tiny apartments. It was really weird and felt like unfair treatment. Bromley Manor needs to be shut down.
