The people we met were nice, but we felt let down by the care. Sometimes it seemed like they stopped trying with our family member. The food wasn't good, and sometimes there wasn't enough.

The staff were nice, but the memory care area smelled bad. The residents had more advanced dementia than my mom, so it wouldn't be a good fit for her. She needs a more social place. The facility is close to NYC, which makes visiting possible. Plus, they can keep your family member even when funds run out.

We visited this place for care. The manager was friendly and caring, and the menu had lots of variety. They offer activities. However, we didn't quite feel what we were looking for. Families should tour this community for their loved ones' care.

The staff at Filmore were friendly and helpful in finding us a place to live. They answered all our questions and made us feel at home right away. The facility is very clean and well-maintained. We’ve only been here for 3 weeks, but we’re finding it to be a great place to live.

I really like this place. They take great care of my mom’s medicine and make sure she takes it correctly. It’s much better than her previous community—they offer more activities. Overall, it’s a lovely place, and I’m very happy.

The meal servers are great, but some aides and management need improvement. Activities lack personalization. Food quality is decent, with six options for lunch and dinner. A medical staff presence would help. Friendly salesperson, but follow-up is lacking. Permanent residents worry about the merger. I’d consider other options.” .

"Perfect Assisted Living Find with Little Effort – Great Experience!"
Fillmore Pond was great and had a lot of energy. We’re excited to move our mom there soon. A Place For Mom found it for us on our first day of searching. It was just what we needed. Honestly, we thought finding a place would be much harder.
