"A Blessing at Absolute Love and Care"
My mom has been living at the Absolute Love and Care Adult Family home for about a month now. She's adjusting well, and any issues during her transition are being handled by Elvira and her team. When I visit, Mom seems happy and well taken care of. Elvira and the staff genuinely care for the residents, treating everyone with respect. The home is always clean, and Elvira promptly addresses any questions or concerns I have. Moving Mom here was a tough decision, but it turned out to be a blessing. Thank you, Elvira and team!

"So Grateful for This Wonderful Place"
My dad moved in a year ago, and we are so lucky to have found this place. Elvira and her family have made my dad feel at home from the very beginning. It’s made my life a lot easier because he’s so happy there. I can’t recommend this place enough!

"Caring Family Makes a Big Difference Here"
Alvira and her family at this home are amazing. They’re very kind and friendly to everyone who lives there and to visitors. Alvira remembers everyone’s names, knows how they’re doing, and spends time with each person every day. She’s been a huge help to my family, and we feel relieved knowing that our mom is treated with care and respect, not just like a number. I’d recommend this home to anyone needing a place for their loved one, if they have a spot available.

"Avoid! Not Enough Staff and No Activities"
This place doesn't have enough staff and they're dishonest. They've had filed against them. They make the residents go to bed super early at 6 in the evening and don't check on them all night. I didn't notice any events or activities for them. They just sit in front of a TV.

"Wonderful, caring home with a happy environment for my mom"
My mom has lived here for a year now. After taking care of her for five years, I wanted to find her a great place to live. I couldn’t have found a more caring and loving home. Every time I visit, my mom is happy. I visit about three times a week at different times of the day. Elvira keeps the home very clean. I absolutely love this adult family home!

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Friendly, but Food Needs Improvement"
The place is really nice, and the people there are super friendly. They really seem to care about the folks who live there. But sometimes it feels like they're more focused on making money. The food they serve is supposed to be fresh, but it seems like a lot of it comes from Costco. They mostly serve cheap cuts of pork and chicken, never any chicken breast or good meat. I've never seen them serve beef, and there aren't many fresh veggies or fruit either.

"Happy mom, happy family"
It took some time and a little persuasion to move our mom to a private home. But Absolute Love and Care Adult Family Home isn't your usual private care place—it's more like Tender Loving Care. The home is clean and well-organized. The meals are homemade, and residents can choose their favorites. The care they provide comes from a genuine love for the elderly, treating residents with the utmost honor and respect. Our mom hasn't been this happy daily in years. It's wonderful to see her smile and visit her where she looks and feels great.

"Affordable but needs more activities and better quality"
This facility is cheaper than some others in the area, and you get what you pay for. It's not bad, but not as good as the more expensive places. I wish there were more activities for the elderly to enjoy.

"Affordable but Needs More Elderly Entertainment"
This place costs less than other nearby options, which means it's not quite as nice, but it's still okay. I wish they had more fun stuff for the older folks to do.

"A Loving Home with Exceptional Care for Alzheimer's Patients"
Our mom stayed here for 18 months, and we feel so grateful to have found this place for her. She received top-notch, caring help during a tough time with Alzheimer's. Elvira, her staff, and her family went above and beyond to support mom in the final stages of her illness. They were always aware of her needs and kept my sister and me informed about how she was doing. They took care of all her personal needs, made sure she got her medication, and helped her eat as much as she could. They worked really well with hospice staff for 10 months and were very kind and respectful when mom passed away in May 2014. There was some staff turnover while mom was there, but everyone seemed capable and kind. We were comforted knowing that Elvira and Eugene were available 24/7. We visited several other adult family homes in Kent, and Absolute Love and Care was the only one that felt right. In the end, that feeling was spot on, and we highly recommend this place for families needing care for their loved ones. It was also a great value compared to other options.

"An Outstanding Place Where Residents Thrive"
When I first visited the facility, I could hear the residents laughing, and that’s still true even now that my mom goes there. I wasn’t given a specific time to visit; I was told I could come by anytime, which shows how great this place is. Even if my mom doesn’t remember she’s been there, she recognizes everyone and knows where she is as soon as she walks in. I drive 30 minutes each way, twice a day 2 hours total, even though there are closer places. My mom smiles when she arrives, and that’s what really matters. The activities are designed for the residents, not the staff, and there’s always something going on they don’t just sit around watching TV all day. The staff and the family are kind, there are small kids around, and there are only six residents. Mom goes two days a week and also stays there when I go on vacation.

"Seeking Quality Care"
She is great - friendly, kind, neat, and just a genuinely nice person. She could just use a bit more practice, or some help, finding and keeping people who are as good as she is. If she could do that, I'd give every aspect of the place a perfect score.

"Great care and clean environment for my mom with dementia"
I'm pretty happy with where my mom is now. The place is clean, and there are 2 or 3 other people there with her. I’m not sure about her daily plans, but they’re managing her well. Even with her dementia, they get her to do things that I couldn’t. Her overall hygiene is way better, and she seems to like it. She has a nice room, and everyone is very kind to her. The woman in charge seems to really understand what she needs for her dementia care. They helped sort out her medication and vitamins, and I really like how they handle everything. Mom’s doing as well as can be expected, so I can leave her there without too many issues.

I’m pretty happy with where my mom is right now. The place is always clean, and she has 2 or 3 other people around her. I’m not sure what she has planned every day, but the staff is really good with her. They manage to get her to do things that I couldn’t. Her general hygiene has improved a lot, and she seems to like it there. She has a nice room, and everyone is very kind to her. The person in charge seems to really understand dementia care and has helped with her medication. They also helped simplify her vitamins. The staff has been great at explaining things to me, and I like them a lot. Mom is doing as well as can be expected, so I feel okay leaving her there.
