"Nice Facility but Expensive with Some Unfriendly Staff"
The facility is really nice and well-kept. However, some of the staff aren't very friendly. The food in the dining room is pretty good. They offer activities like exercise classes, golfing, and even a Japanese singing class. It is quite pricey, and the overall services could be improved.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Not Quite the Right Fit"
We visited Aegis Gardens but didn't feel it suited my relative. It seemed focused on one culture and was too far from family. We picked a different place since it didn't meet our needs.

"Great Assisted Living but Memory Care Needs Improvement"
The assisted living here is really different from their memory care unit. We initially chose this place for my mom because the assisted living area was great, with lots of activities and a fantastic restaurant-style dining area. Mom was excited about it. But soon after moving in, she had to be moved to the memory care unit, which is like night and day compared to assisted living. The memory care unit feels more like a basic dorm with a small hallway and is not as nice as the assisted living side. The food is different too. I haven’t tried it myself, but Mom doesn't like it and is struggling with that. Now that she's in memory care, she often asks to leave, which she didn’t do when she was in assisted living. It’s a pity they don’t make the memory care unit more like the assisted living side. I’ve had some trouble with the administrative and billing departments, but the staff are really nice. However, there have been several issues: she broke her hip, another resident wandered into her room causing a problem, and some of her things have gone missing. I know it’s hard to care for people with dementia, but I’ve been disappointed with these ongoing problems. On the positive side, they do keep me updated on her situation, and they respond quickly to emails. I just have to trust they’re handling everything properly. I’ve also had problems with billing, with incorrect invoices and discounts not being applied. They say they can’t fix current invoices, so I have to wait for the next month’s statement for corrections. Besides these issues, the staff are friendly and welcoming whenever I visit.

"Nice Place Overall, Memory Care Could Be Better"
This place was a solid second choice. It was really nice and clean. The facility offers both assisted living and memory care. While I wasn’t too impressed with the memory care part, everything else about the place was excellent.
